Remember that this mod is not really truly done yet... I believe that once this mod gets finished, possibly updated a few times, this will likely be the most quality, lore friendly boss there is in Isaac.
If it was on the home floor you would lose out on the womb floors for devil deals which isn’t a big deal for characters who can lock in devil deals easily but would be inconsistent for characters like t Judas or ??? Who only have soul hearts and don’t always have enough by the second floor to justify locking in the deal
Second (or fourth, kinda) phase really needs some new music and sound effects, but the sprite work is great and it overall has a lot of potential as a mega Satan alternative
How is it with the rusty key pickup idea going. also if anyone sees this then i think this boss is a reference to the voice that isaac's mother hears and tells here to k1ll isaac
I don't think Hush was ever considered an alternative Mega Satan, maybe in terms of lore and theming, but definitely not in how to get to it. Also you fight Hush several floors before MS, whereas you fight The Voice on te same floor.
I hope they make boss harder, and instead of blowing up satan there’s another cause blowing satan statue up, then just fighting a boss like how mega satan did it is kinda boring

Apparently you can *Soul of Eden* the door, Lazy Mattman did it and had to reset it
by the way, I think the door floated towards you because the game considers it a pickup or something
(since it can be rerolled by soul of Eden)
