Myself and my mother were able to get away from my step dad a few years ago. He was diagnosed BPD, and was the worst narcissist you'll ever see.
Everything in this video hit spot on. Constantly being blamed for things you didn't do, being told you said things you didn't say, having what you said be misconstrued to the point that it wasn't anywhere near what you actually said.
I heard this song a few days ago, and I got emotional. My mom absolutely loves Dax, especially for these kinds of songs (Dear Alcohol is her favorite). She was definitely letting out some tears when it was playing, because everything here is so spot on, and it's still recent memory for us.
We both still have problems from the whole situation. If I hear people talking on the other side of a wall, I HAVE to stop what I'm doing to listen. Because that's what I had to do before, because sometimes it got physical between him and us. You definitely will come out of that situation a little bit messed up.
