    Bach’s “Suite #6”(in my opinion, the most difficult of all the Suites),was originally composed for an Instrument with five strings: the “Viola Pomposa”.

    Thank you very much for the interesting sessions on Bach suites. I am focusing with much effort on the suites myself and the bowings which are not available from the manuscript. I am studying from the Alexanian edition but find the bowings rather uncomfortable and very complex. Should I insist? Thank you for your response. Flavio
