Widor's symphony f minor is a really beautiful and technical piece! The organ looks huge and beautiful! Have you played with the Hauptwerk sampleset? Anyway, your performance is great! Steven!😀😀😀💕💕💕

Thanks so much for your encouragement! This organ has the Hauptwerk Dudelange sample set which has really been wonderful to work with. Thanks for listening!

Steven, I had a cd of an organist playing a Fisk organ, and this was one of his selections. I was not aware it was a Widor composition. I think you did a beautiful job on this piece, and wow, what an an impressive organ this is, with a beautiful and powerful sound. Is it in Europe or the US? Are you a concert organist, a church organist, or both? I'm sorry for asking so many questions, but I love the pipe organ, and have great respect for those who are masters of it. Your name is kind of American-sounding, but I'm assuming this is in Europe.
I'm an extremely amateur unpaid organist for my church in WV, USA. We bought a nearly 100 year old Estey organ with a Shantz console from a church which was being demolished, and reinstalled it in our church in the same city. It is only 11 rank, but it works fine for our needs.

Thanks so much John! I’m originally from Virginia and I’m down in the Atlanta area now where I do a mix of church, teaching and concert stuff. Sound like an interesting hybrid to work with at church- hope it’s working well for you all! All the best in West Virginia!

Beautiful. Did you make the sample set dry?

Thanks for listening! I loaded shorter reverb lengths on the samples (not completely dry) The original full length samples were too much when added to the natural acoustics of the church. I recorded a direct output, then I think I added back some reverb in the editing (it’s been a few weeks now)
