Chung Ha is absolutely the best 3rd gen female soloist in KPop! And if it wasn’t KD above her, I would have started a revolution in the comments lol ❤️

I didn’t even watch her produce but her star power is amazing. And this is coming from a 2nd gen hag who complains about stage presence and vocals. (She has both of that and can dance too? I hate her. In the nicest way possible.)

As a KD stan, I won't mind if she's number one honestly... she slays everytime...
Stream Upside down by KD, honestly KD is criminally underrated internationally.

Woodz is my favourite soloist in Kpop, I actually really love the rock and punk direction he took this comeback- it’s not just a concept like other groups, he really did full on rock and pop punk. His song ‘dirt on my leather’ is the first time I’ve seen a kpop artist release something as pure rock as it. ( he also composes and writes all his songs which is crazy )

    5. Yena

Woodz and Seungwoo are some of the most talented soloist out there. Seungwoo has still many things to show as a soloist but Woodz....He is a true diamond! I haven't loved a soloist so much since G-DRAGON and that says a lot. One of his latest songs Hijack is on repeat every day in my head🤣

    My top 3 are
    1. Woodz
    2. Chungha
    3. Eunbi
Tbh I didn't even know most of the people on this list but Woodz is my favourite soloist period and Chungha is also up there. I also like what we've seen from eunbi so far.
In terms of woodz's I fall on the opposite end of the spectrum I adored his latest releases. Feel Like is ny favourite title track, Only Lovers Left had so many songs I loved on it and the latest mini's rock sound falls right into my favourite music genre outside of kpop. But I can definitely understand how others might be put off by that sound.
Chungha is one of the top female soloists and that for good reason. I love so much of her music. Sadly Bicicle has been my least favourite cb of hers so far so I've been eagerly awaiting the next cb. I think her company might have been in financial trouble bc Bvndit had their last cb years ago (so glad they'll finally come back this month. They are one of my favourite groups but I hate that they seemed to have changed concept I loved their music style). Anyway I'm just glad we might be getting new music from queen chungha soon

    my personal ranking
    1. Woodz - he's the best soloist atp. i think many of yall don't understand he's actually the ace of all rounders, the things he does and know about music, production concept and all none of the produce series idols know that much, he is top level artist and his every new release surpasses his previous releases i don't think i can say the same for others, he is #1
    2. Chungha - she's one of a kind no question asked and i'm actually glad she's a soloist she doesn't fit in a girl group, as she can overpower anyone her charisma is something else.
    3. Kang Daniel - he could easily blend in a bg also shines perfectly as a soloist it's his singing that i know he can push himself more on that side but yeah he's a star.

Ngl but for me seungyoun/woodz is a clear first place. He is so versatile, involved in his music production and literally reinvents himself every comeback. I don't see his conceptchange as a change of image but rather as a deeper dive into the pop punk elements that he has used in his music for a long time already.

I currently liked ChungHa’s new title track song Sparkling
Even though people would say it has an 80s retro vibe, I'll still like it because it's her, and she killed it

the "illusion" mini album is not actually yohan's first solo work! he released a song called "no more" produced by zion.t in mid 2020, right before wei's debut. its a cuter song, very boyish

  • @pierrequiroulenamassepasmo66

Daniel is so popular in Korea it's crazy! Seeing his sales and his ranking in the monthly popular idols raking (always in the top 3) always surprise me and I'm really happy for him after what he went through

GOD SEJEONG MY #1 I love herrrr and her voice and her music her plant mini is perfection and she composed all of her I'm mini 😌😌 she's the best I want another album plssss jellyfish we get it she is great at acting but that voice the worlds needs to hear it she can't be that talented and not release more music.
then for me yena I love her debut and I hope she continues this style/sound
then chungha solid discography until her full album which was meh and I didn't like the direction it took tbh rip
then yuri also love her debut and sound, and she's having a mini in june so let's see.
then eunbi. open mini was so boring to me but color is more my style
hyewon. I like ballads and these are nice
somi. sorry bestie the only song of hers that is actually really good is outta my head which she wrote herself so pls write more ok

STAN WOODZ & STREAM 'I HATE YOU'!

  • @Eastlight3806
    @Eastlight3806 Před 2 lety +1

I love most comments dominate by Woodz enjoyer. Because honestly the last produce group he's in which is X1 is the least promoted and the most unfairly treated group in produce history. So despite all those mistreatment and boycott from the industry unlike the rest of 3 early produce season who benefit "produce" privilege (being booked and busy) after group disbandment, must say that he did very well. Ofc the fact that not only Woodz ACE all criteria as an all rounder ( not only 'can' but excel in all rap, sing and dance) his producing skill made him as the only produce alumni who embodied the ultimate all rounder itself. The fact that lots of younger idol look up to him as a row model. And he always receive praises from music critics every since he comeback as soloist Woodz with his self produce song.

Edit: Woosung is amazing, but I am tired or TOP Media and their sabotage of Up10Tion once he succeeded in Produce.
Like srsly - they just gave úplně :(

i love this video! if you do something like this again in the future, i was wondering if you can possibly rank everyone’s outcome from pre debut groups like future 2ne1 or silver boys?!

  • @HMarie.99
    @HMarie.99 Před 2 lety +2

I more or less agree with the ranking, I would’ve only switched Eunbi and Woodz from personal taste. I think I’d have also ranked Jihoon and Seongwu higher, just because their songs “l.o.v.e” and “gravity” respectively (and Seongwu’s collab with Baek Z Young) are some of my favorite k-pop songs of all time. I really wish Seongwu would release more music, because I really liked his style and his voice especially:/
