I dont know why this didnt come with some back-up singers to really get that 80’s groovy soul choir effect, but she still carried with her own vocals. This song has potential to sound and feel like gospel!
She wanted to carry the whole song and she did. I feel the Saxophone add an amazing touch, maybe she thou adding back up singers was gonna be to much due to the saxophone.

@@JoelCruz-jd9ct the backing track comes with backing vocals though, that element could have been incorporated live into this set. The backing track ruins the 'live' element for me. But nonetheless, her vocals are some of the best of her generation of artists.

I think I’ve followed her now for about three years and I see such a change in her since she got married although I like her music now I much prefer her earlier stuff…
Rita is saintly and I genuinely love her to the moon and back with all of my heart. If life was a song she would be the chorus that I could listen to endlessly to fuel my day. Rita’s love is nothing less than electric, magical and generous, and moreover she has a bright positivity, supercharged confidence, full throttle indomitable spirit that is unbelievably empowering and godly. In my opinion, she is also the definition of miracles, honey sweetness and pure inner child joy. As a multitalented entertainer with one of the biggest hearts and a powerful pioneering spirit, she is an incredible blessing and role model for feminine power, the gift that keeps giving. I think that Praising You is an ingenious rendition of the original track, which I have also always loved as a 90s teen because it really stands out as having that cool factor and it’s one of the most original songs I have ever heard. The way that she manages to capture the spirit and joy of gratitude is really soul-touching and ironic for a fun and upbeat dance track in the best way possible. Rita’s courage gives me a renewed feeling of hope for a better world that values greater love, generosity and connection, for which I’m so deeply grateful xx
