Olivia Pope has a portrait in the end, because while Fitz & Mellie were Presidents of the White House, Olivia Pope WAS the White House. One way or another, she belonged there. It’s a nod to her getting what she wanted in Fitz, but having what she needed in the portrait. ✨
Stevie was throughout the soundtrack for Scandal. LOVED it.
Jake shouldn't have ended up in prison, cyrus should have. Jake always wanted Olivia to save him and stand in the sun with him. Even if he couldn't have that, him being represented as the "bad" guy was unfair to that character. Cyrus was always evil and admitted that he would never change. Jake is capable of change, he just wanted to feel wanted like any other human being.

Cyrus deserved prison for season after season. Him going free was the worst part about the series finale for me.

Psychologically hes fine in federal because hes at peace with thoughts and its order for him compared to what hes been through.

Representation is the human emotion that takes place from one human connection to another. The various dynamics shown throughout Scandal shines specific relateability to individual moments in our own lives. When viewers can either see themselves as they are or see themselves as they wished to be it creates a passion for viewers who will tune-in until the end.
Ugh! I’m so happy for Shonda! I only clicked on the link because I saw her, with her Gucci belt on, sitting in the first chair. Smiling. Not freaking out but being cool.

If the series is over, why not tell us?! I feel like Shonda insists on being on her bullshit. This wasn’t the episode to leave to interpretation. It was one to answer all the unresolved questions. And Cyrus ass should’ve died a miserable death or ended up in prison. Not Jake.
How did Olivia’s end up in national portraits? 1)with Bean out as vp, olivia changed her mind to be her new vp w/ Meli president or 2)Olivia runs for president herself & wins!! The two girls staring at the portrait is Olivia’s & Fitz’ daughters !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Roan is finally a granddad !!

Maybe Fitz ran for president again and won, cause he had a car of security behind him. Fitz also revealed a portrait of himself in the white House so maybe Olivia's portrait was in the white House as the first lady, with THEIR daughters looking at their mother and admiring her.
I think it’s Ella and the other one is fitz and Olivia daughter because we never seen her anywhere in the series and she had no name so it would make sense!

I'm sorry to say, but that for me that song completely destroyed my mood at that Scandal end montage, Stevie Wonder or not. I would have wished for something more sentimental and melodic at the end of the series.
right!!! Thought the same when I was watching it. Shame that Steve Wonder created it specially for the show as he is a genius just wasn't suited. It just did not connect with the scenes.
It is the kind of music they always used and I loved what they used to do with it. But I just feel to me this track just didn't quite fit with the scenes. Strange to speak about scandal as a past. 😞

The series finale was trash. Jake should not have gone to prison while everyone else went free. He should have put Olivia to sleep before he went to prison.
