It’s also amazing to me that the one who thought of that line is the least popular in the group for some odd reason a.k.a. scary spice… And she always got the worst camera time when making a Videos… It was one of the most creative forces in the Spice Girls🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️. Scary spice literally makes the Spice Girls who they are. Don’t get me wrong they all added to the group, but scary spice top them off.

Her only line in the song is "Are you for real?" after Emma sings it.
OMG the venue looks so different now! The staircase is obviously the same, as are the hallways the girls ran through but the dining hall looks almost unrecognizable! The fact that this lyric video was shot during daytime probably has something to do with it (daylight coming through the windows affecting how the place looks) whereas the original music video was shot in the evening (maybe late afternoon) when it was dark outside, and the curtains/furniture was different too, from what I remember. Still a very fun lyric video, I like how the balloon colors/patterns match with each solo line by the girls :)
The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel apparently underwent a huge meticulous renovation. Apparently it was really run down when they made the video, hence all the drapery and banners blocking things. I think they should credit the Spice Girls for helping bring it back to life.

It always bugged me that Victoria didn't have a solo in their biggest hit.
Maybe it was because they didn’t know how to place her voice in their first single.
In this version, you can actually hear her singing some backing vocals. As a Posh Spice fan, she really shines in Say You’ll Be There 🥰🥳 !
Victoria wasn't present during the writing and recording of the demo, which was done on the same day. Virgin wanted Love Thing or SYBT to be the debut, both superior songs with more of her vocals, but I'm glad the girls insisted on this. Also, I think if you change the vocal arrangement you end up with a different song.
