I'm Mariah Alice, and I live the "solo female van life" with my dog, Finn. We've been on the road full time since June of 2020, and although our road has been met with what feels like a zillion ups and downs, we've finally gotten to the point where living in a van feels like home. Sometimes we're alone in the woods, sometimes we're alone in a desert, sometimes we're chasing snow or thunderstorms, sometimes we're trying to see all 50 states, and sometimes we're making weekly videos here on CZcams talking about our feelings, anxiety, loneliness, seasonal extreme sadness..... yeah. This is so exciting for you. You have come such a long way from where you started so upgrading is just going to be a continuum of a free life. Even though I'm not so interested in van build videos, I prefer the travel aspect of your station. That being said I'm going to watch you build the van, the new one because I've been following you pretty much since you started your journey with Coleman. Many of the van lifers I used to watch have all settled down and bought property and built their homes, which they share on youtube. I watch some of them now because I've been watching them years and years and after a while it just becomes more like a reality show because you want to know what's happening with people that you have come to really care about just over youtube. May the fortunes bless you little sister.

I expressed gratitude about your transparency and honesty with the community, that is both the highs and the lows despite others over glamorizing van life on social media. I am so thrilled to see your growth, and I’m still here because your content never falters. you are really intentional with what you release, and we all value that from you.
I actually had my 1 year vaniversary about a week ago. full time as a student and summer intern, a bit different than as a nomad. I hope to truly hit the road one day, but I’m enjoying the path I paved.
I also was really inspired a LOT by your build’s layout, feel, and look. I incorporated a lot of your home into mine. I absolutely see how difficult it was for you to live and work full time in your van. For me, it’s been incredible because my life is pretty removed from my van. I use the space for sleeping and meals mostly. It’s a quiet place for me to go back to at night, and I love it.
I’m sad, but I can’t wait to see this next chapter unfold for you.

I totally understand caring more about the person who gets it than the total amount paid. I went down on my price by a lot on my old rig just because I loved the gal that was buying it. I wanted to see it being loved and dreams being chased and achieved with it!

It's a bit sad when you have to sell your lovely van but I'm glad that you will continue your journey and not going to drop out of this channel. Just wanted to say that I’m doing van life as a college student! In my opinion, a fortune of cash is a lot better spent on a van than rent! Both routes are expensive, but one of them buys you an asset :,)

Currently six months into building out my first van! Went on a trip with it partially finished for ten weeks, am now installing electrics… similarities are mad, I’ve got the same medium roof medium wheelbase transit, solo female, 200W solar on the roof same fridge and B2B charger etc… I get why you were so sad to sell the thought of me parting from my van at some point can just make me spontaneously burst into tears!! Can’t wait to watch the truck build :))

Enjoyed watching your series so far, put it on my 2nd screen when gaming after work to relax and see what you have been up to each week, which has been fun to watch. Hope you get a good price on your van. I could never live in a van without a fixed shower and toilet personally and more space long term. My first buildout is going to be a Ford Transit 2023 350 Extended. It's just nice to have that room to separate spaces and fit what you want in. Curious to see your new build out with your next van, I prefer those videos as personal interest in them and your life building will be very different than all the travelling of the last 2+ years.
