In today's video I thought I would go over some of the more advanced driving techniches and speed boosts. Sorry if I was sounding a bit off or talking a bit fast at some points, was a bit sick at the time of recording! If you have any other questions to do with what is shown in this video feel free to ask below and I will try my best to answer all of them! These techniques will also work on all GTA servers such as regular online, RageMP, FiveM, and any other form of GTA 5 Servers! Hope you enjoy and learn a bit! :)

I’ve been double clutching for years now, and it’s still as entertaining as it was when I first started doing it. Especially, if you use franklins power when your bouncing off the rev limiter, literally LAUNCHES your car. I didn’t know about the brake boosting though. I’ll definitely have to give that a try later! Good video, and good job giving directions. Super easy to understand!
Powered double clutching🤑
The reason curb boosting boosts your speed is because the drive wheels are lifting off of the ground as you do it, this is making them no longer have friction with the road and as a result they spin much faster. The increase in how much they spin isn't then affected win you hit the ground again and instead just boosts your speed to what it was without the friction of the road.

Now this sounds plausible, but im pretty sure it has something todo with the speed boost you get when driving your car out of a standstill, so the car belives its in a stand still because its not quite lost contact to the floor but still is just above so it can give u the speed boost

Yup, we use all that in racing community haha. Iv been called a hacker so many times by random people that don’t know these things 🤣🤣 same with racing lines, there is also short shifting 😊 another way to explain break boosting is it’s your front suspension expanding and you press your break

and with the brake boosts, you can brake boost also off curbs/ or just kinda like brakeboosts your left 2 wheels, if you drive off the side of the curb < more advanced and harder to do though

You can also double clutch fwd cars btw, it like it is with awd but without the handbrake, only the normal brake.
Its possible to brake boost while curb boosting but its a bit hard to perform because you'll lose speed when you miss it.
the best spot to show break boosting is the street from harbor to the east LSC there are many holes in the street you can use ANY hole for a break boost topping out at 260 kph in an issi sport for example :D

For me everysingle car i use is r1 and brake. When in rwd and just using r1 its so inconsistent and doesnt leave a skid mark as often as using r1 and brake. R1 and brake always leaves a skid mark iykyk when it leaves a skid mark you hit it perfect

imo all of those work because unlike in real life in gta wheel spin doesn't kill your traction. All you have to worry about is getting revs to the limit as fast and as often as possible.
If the traction psychics didn't change and GTA was in Europe where all cars are manual all you would have to do is press in the clutch with full throttle, let it rev up to the limit and drop the clutch. You wouldn't need to slow down because of the brakes.

FYI the gauge that tells you your engines revolutions is called a tachometer not a rev limiter. Awesome video though.

My Tezeract's suspension is so low it cannot get onto curbs. And no Double Clutching for me either as it only has a single gear; go! But I can try Brake Boosting, ty.
I think both methods of double clutching work on awd and rwd because I’ve been using both methods on both awd and rwd cars
This was very useful as in GTA rp I have an elegy, and I was wondering why the double clutch only worked half the time.. and it's cause sometimes I'd accidentally hold down the normal brake while doing so

@@axolniz6597 Yeah I used to be in pd, got fired 3 days ago rip badge 11598, but yo those cruisers r like 240 in the city and thats the max overall in the server lol. Either they need to buff the speed limits again and accept the fact some cars are faster than PD, or reduce PD cruiser speed limits.

Fairly sure you don’t need to let off the gas to double clutch, just hit the handbrake.

The “double clutch” happens between first and second gear. The revs are up and then the car grabs therefor dropping the rpms... not actually shifting into second
For the double clutch you can just tap it at full rev on any gear pretty much, careful in turns
No need to let off throttle, but will spin tires
It's because the e brake also works as a clutch in gta, and it's pretty much a clutch kick

you should of showed doing the brake boost, and not doing break boost, without break boosting over small lil jumps, it still shoot su rmph over, its called phjyics, you dont need to break boost there that does it auto when u land down cuz enginge was reving so when u land u hit higher mph
ik this video was 2 years ago, but I've really never been able to hear when the engine is bout to change, maybe my audio is too low when Im playing with other mfers, I just instinctively do it when I do it, I just know the time for when to do it when it comes to double clutching
I heavily doubt that the devs actually *intended* their driving physics to work in this way.. where driving over curbs gives you a boost in speed etc (and them releasing newer cars with handling flags to stop this proves it), so this is more like some glitch abusing rather than driving techniques. No wonder that some FiveM servers frown upon this and even ban people if they set record times by abusing all these 'driving techniques' in a run.

The intro is on a FiveM custom racing server and the rest is just in single player :)

No unfortunately since they only have 2 gears: reverse and drive haha :)

Put the nose of your car against a wall and then go full throttle
for some reason it feels easier to do the RWD double-clutching by doing W + S instead of W + Space at the right time, as if the window is bigger. do i lose out on speed/time if i do it with brake instead of handbrake for RWD?
Its different for every car it's just about finding that sweet spot and getting yours engine speed the same as your wheel speed

How do u correct oversteer?
Correcting oversteer is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
As soon as you start to lose control, reduce the amount of throttle you're using but do not completely let off. You want at least 10-20% of throttle depending on the vehicle. Next, you want to steer into the opposite direction that the car is fishtailing in. For example, if the car is fishtailing to the left, steer to the right. Make sure that you steer enough so that your front wheels are still facing in the direction that you want to go but be careful of over-correcting your slide as this will cause you to spin out. Once the car has settled down, get back on the throttle. So it goes like this:
1.) Reduce your throttle input to 10-20%
2.) Countersteer in the opposite direction that the car is headed
Try to correct the oversteer in cars such as the Banshee and the Pariah. Once you nail those cars, you can control anything
How can you tell if a car is a all wheel drive
Drive very slowly into a wall while standing still and than full throttle it, if it's awd than all wheels are spinning.
Every time I'm driving in the game a dumbass npc will try to cut in front of me while I'm turning a corner instead of waiting 🤦

The easiest way to tell is to just have the car in front of something and hold the accelerator and it will do a burn-out for the tires that are powered :)

You have to pay to get it retro custom at bennys it’s a nice looking car
The RWD car is the Banshee 900R and the AWD car is the Elegy Retro Custom. You can obtain these vehicles by driving your personal-owned Banshee and Elegy RH8 respectively into Benny's and paying for the Upgrade option.
NOTE: Upgrading the Banshee into the Banshee 900R will change the car class of the car from Sports into Super.

They patched it for many cars but some other such as Hellfire, Cypher, Comet S2 are still possible

Your double clutch didnt even work, you would see tire marks as you do it if you do it correctly, if you dont see the tire marks then it didn't work, all that happened is your fov because you let off the E brake so fast
