I love this deck but jedus the turtle is so unbelievably busted who at riot gave it good stats and spellshield, and worst of all even if you kill it immediately the cost reduction still applies.
I don't know why the effect works like this, becaus it says the first card, but you played Heisho as your first card. So there shouldn't be a cost reduction in my opinion. Maybe my grammer is just bad

@@justicebringer225 I'm not sure how it would be worded around how the effect currently functions? Maybe it'd be like: "The next card you play each turn..." but even that sounds a bit weird. Maybe it'd be two abilities/triggers like: "The first card you play each turn..." And: "When you play me, the next card..."
They really need to nerf Heisho statline or remove the spell shield because clearly it does not need it 💀💀, whenever i ran into a mirror match it's not about skill it's about who could find / put down Heisho the fastest and then turn off brain.
Like yeah the deck may be fun, but given how strong the turtle is it’s pretty much tier 0 right now. I know it’s bad manners to surrender before they swing with elder dragon, but if they spam out early turtles they deserve it.
@@benjaminehren7965 Regen would be fantastic to fit that unkillable status. But I do think that's a bit too much. Deathless and tough just make him harder to remove. He's a 7 drop with decent stats but no keywords to bolster himself.
I mean, its the prize to pay for such an awesome aura and decent stats. Its not even that easy to kill, at 8 health you basically need hard removal or a big challenger, and he still gives value on summon
@@buycraft911miner2 He doesn't have quick attack this is unfortunately not true. If he challenges a single unit he's in threat range for a lot of soft removal especially on turn 7
@@colebarber8485 Sure but ideally you don't need to attack with him till he flips so you can get the drain effect. He plays more like Viego where you just sit him back for the passive effect so it's not the worst thing. Not to mention he has tools like Legion and Unbreakable if he really needs deathless. Not the most broken but he's solid as is.
man the turtle is super borken, it should 100% not work on summon. there is literally no counterplay, they should definetly make it a continues effect while the card is only on the field

Need to nerf into do what card is saying - "First card you play" should mean, _first card you play_ , not play Heisho and then *second* card you play, cost zero - like WTF?! Same works _(with zero chance to interact)_ for Dragon buffs, just out of nowhere you get bonuses, it is so dumb.
Heisho is easily the most broken card ever released and it's not even close

plus the discount is still in effect even if u immediately remove it the turn it was played
He also has 9 HP so even if you do break spell shield you still gotta get through 9 HP if you don't have a kill
plus you got chance for him to get "deathless" keyword when play him in Elder dragon deck
Heisho is kinda broken though
I'm now perpetual salty becuase everytime I play aganist it they have it turn 9 into volition or some other bull that pulls their entire game back

What they NEED to do first is fix the bug that still gives you the discount the turn you summon him even though you've already played cards that turn.

That 9 mana turtle NEEDS to not discount cards on the turn it's played, it's psycho that it works like it does currently.
Nah dude it's 9/9 with spell shield and reducing any card cost by 9 this carda simply needs to be straight up deleted
I wonder if curse cards given by the opponent count as created cards that level up champions like Viktor.
Elder Dragon X Volibear is broken on...
1) Quick summon 8 cost + Follower & Champions
2) Iascylla ( the better Karma )
3) Heisho ( round start, 1 time -9 cost buff )
4) Iascylla + Volibear (included lvl up) = Evenly Matched (Yu-Gi-Oh)
5) lvl up Elder Dragon = Victory Dragon (Yu-Gi-Oh)

No it works like all the card with that effect. Only applying after the card that says it
It should just be a round start effect, that’s all. And maybe not spell shield.
