Shame Brian's prompter is so visible in this video as it's the best video of this song live I've seen yet but that's the only thing anyone would pay attention to if they saw this, though no one says anything when it's hidden in the stage like a monitor for Jagger, etc. This song is so great, I can't get enough of it.

Hi, Sorry I did get the wrong end of the stick there. I never gave it a thought that you meant the screen with the words on as Brian always uses that. I have seen him twice once for the pet sounds tour then the smile. I dont think anyone who understood Brian and his music as you obviously do and i do would begrudge him the "prompter" Its just great that his performimg

Just when I really want to hate Mike? I still admit that he's a great bandleader. The expression goes, "Giving the devil his due". I really dig Jeff Foskett's falsetto. And Brian and Big Al Jardine's contributions on the melody.
My original followups to the comment you jumped on are still there, btw, I worded that a bit wrongly and realized my old comments only had a few thumbs up and therefore probably aren't on the first page any longer. I was saying basically "its a shame this video shows Brian's TELEprompter as any time I show it to ppl that's the first -and only- thing they comment on, missing how great the song is, whereas other artists/ppl that use them get a pass. Nowhere in there was I referring to J. Foskett.
"Brians prompter"? Thats jerry Foskett he is in Brians band and he has toured on and off with the Beach boys for years as well. He is also credited on the new album. He is not a prompter.

usually it's annoying when bands play thier "new" stuff in concerts...but I don't mind this at all! "Isn't it time" and "God made the radio" are fine by my books as classic songs! PS Mike Love SUCKS
