- It's frustrating when your vehicle won't start but as long as you start with the battery and start the process of elimination, you'll find that it may be the smallest and most inexpensive culprit that is causing your headache.

Thats a correct way to check the alternator! You can also have someone start the car whith the leads on the battery and watch the battery go 12.6 to 10.9 and then to 13.5... i did, its fun! Great work!

Bob, did you replace the 27F with 24F again after 3 years (I think thats a 3 years old video), did the Costco 27F battery only lasted 3 years.
I didn’t buy the 27F from Costco, it was from an automotive store I think Napa or Autozone. Yes it was a 3 year battery. What I didn’t show you was my truck died in a Costco parking lot. I was parked far away and didn’t have a 10mm socket to remove the battery strap. I had to buy the 24F because the 27F didn’t come with handles for some reason. The Costco 24F was also a 3 year battery and was made by interstate.

Bob, I dropped a small plastic clip into my front windshield defroster vent, whats the best way to get it out? I’m planning on using a grabber tool and might try to suction it out with a vaccumt
Why bother? Buy a new clip.
@@GXBOB im not worried about the clip, but I dont want that little thing to mess around and clog anything or gets melted or anything like that. I’m not familiar with the air path so Im not sure where that thing will end up

My barttery went dead today, and i was able to jump it. with the air frier! On another note, do you have any more of those brackets for the trans coolers?
i had some set of brackets made but a quarter of my garage burned down and melted everything in its path. I may make some more in the future but i have none right now.

Just wondering why you went with that battery and not an OEM one?
There is no such thing as oem batteries. The $400 Lexus battery at the dealer is the same battery sold at Walmart for 1/4 the price. All batteries distributed for retailers are made by the only 2 main battery makers - East Penn and Johnson Controls. Then they get shipped out and private labels are stuck on them.
Bob would a microwave work. And if so, maybe we should keep a cheap little microwave in our car for emergencies. What are your thoughts.
Stick with the air fryer. Microwaves are for baby boomers.
I always wire brush all connections and use electrical grease on all connections of the battery
I prefer to clean them myself and I’m sure it would’ve worked but I had a brand new positive battery clamp sitting on the shelf.

As far as looks, i like the square rugged look thats why i bought a 2004 Honda Pilot many years ago. I prefer square rather than curvy or rounded. I know nothing about the 550 nor have i ever sat in one. No, i can not afford it. I am nowhere close to being a profitable youtube channel. Its mainly for fun at this point.

Its a thing you put in front of your tire so your vehicle doesn't roll up hill.
So was that positive terminal end cracked or what ?
it had a film of corrosion which affected full contact with the battery post. I could have used sand paper and scuffed it out but the clamp kit i purchased came with a pair of positive and negative clamps. I just decided to just switch it out.
