An der *Tonquelle - z.B. Gesang, Violine, Orgel etc.* sind unter anderem die Obertöne maßgeblich mit-verantwortlich für die Qualität des Gesamterlebnisses. Je weiter entfernt ein Zuhörer, umso mehr lässt die Signalintensität nach - bei *hohen* Frequenzen *schneller* als tiefere... Für ältere Aufzeichnungen bereits relevant beim Input in alle im Raum postierten Mikrofone. Dem wird mit neuester Aufnahmetechnik natürlich Rechnung getragen. Bei früheren Produktionen wirkt hier mAn. eine Crescendo-Verstärkung der in einer Aufnahme geschwächt, aber *original* enthaltenen höchsten Frequenzen der Aufzeichnung >>3 kHz diesem Hochtondefizit leicht entgegen. - Hören Sie selbst: fast unglaublich; evtl. ziemlich gut an Begleitinstrumenten erkennbar.
Wie die Restauration immer besser
wurde, ist auch *ihre* Wiedergabe zu
pflegen: Die Übertragungs-Kette ist
so stark wie ihr schwächstes Glied!

Der Eintrag wird ergänzt, weil's viele unterschiedliche EQ gibt. Er bezieht sich hier auf eine *'Bass Booster App' (apk) - ohne* Zuschalten des BASS BOOST. Die meisten bedienen an ihrem Gerät/Handy Bluetooth ja korrekt: Bitte Audio-Output Stereo, 'Advanced settings' überprüfen, *'Compatibility* Mode' der App 🎧 und evtl 'Sound Field FLAT' Ihrer Anlage (den BBoost nicht - oder vorsichtig verwenden).
Auf *Artikulation* bzw Instrumente achten, dann wird der Effekt deutlich: einige denken, das sei weniger wichtig; - es *ist* wichtig!
"Ohr des Dionysios" - nur Aufnahmehorn, ohne Mikro. Ziemlich beeindruckend. Der "Samt" in Enricos Stimme ist nun da. Die Qualität nähert sich dem Original.
Modulation mit 'Bass Booster App':
Der Klangcharakter der Stimmen wird dadurch nicht geändert. Weil jedoch die mMn. *kaum hörbaren* Obertonanteile >>2kHz crescendo-verstärkt werden, gewinnt die neue Wiedergabe relevant Brillanz (selbst die Akustik wirkt echt) und *Text* ist gut *verständlich.* Eine 'Zeitreise..'
*Vergleiche* die Wiedergabe, z.B. ab 25:08 oder 34:17f. mit/ohne o.a. Equalizer-Variation ..... auch an der Begleitung wird der klarere Klang recht eindeutig; wie ein 'leicht verschwommenes' Foto plötzlich schärfer wird. *Warum* das so ist, kann man an dem *Graph* der Funktion, die sich aus dieser Einstellung ergibt, verstehen.
*(Leider* wurden die gut gemeinten Anmerkungen z.T. als Negativkritik fehlinterpretiert; das sollen sie NICHT sein: Nur Vorschläge zum *Anhören* ALTER Aufnahmen.)

Das Schöne ist, dass es ohne großen Aufwand erreicht wird. Wer die Musikanlage vom Handy aus (Bluetooth Audio) steuert, sollte damit keine Probleme haben. Intensität der BBooster-(EQ) App bitte *voll ausnutzen;* Gesamtlautstärke ggf auf der externen Anlage einstellen!
Es ist NICHT leicht, mittels eines EQ eine merkliche Besserung der Klangqualität antiker Aufnahmen zu *finden!* Hierzu gibt's *kein* Preset. Die angegebene Präzisionseinstellung© hat hunderte Stunden kleiner Schritte der Verfeinerung erfordert (durch Abgleich vieler historischer Aufnahmen u. a. von ECaruso, LTetrazzini, Orgel, Violine, Klavier usw. - mit WFurtwängler, ATatum, KRichter, ACortot, SFiorentino etc), um alle Praxistests zu bestehen. Insofern ist nur *exakte, genaueste* ! Befolgung wirklich "zielführend in die 1. Reihe".

This Recording was first Reissued under licence by His Master's Voice in 1956 in the Golden Treasury of Immortal Performances and the name of the LP is The art of Caruso Volume one Record Number CSLP-510 and the Recording is almost as clear as My copy and I wish I was around to See him as I wasn't till 35 years after his Premiture death and the Second Recording featcherd hear was Recorded in 1916 and was first Reissued in the Same Serious on The art of Caruso Volume Three Record Number CSLP-512 I have listened to all these Caruso Records and they are almost as good as My copies Reissued under licence by His Master's Voice in the Golden Treasury of Immortal Performances

Personalmente creo que es un tenor demasiado mitificado, de su epoca y posteriores tengo otros tenores que me gustsn mas. Con un canto mas refinado y sin imprimir tanto verismo a todo lo que le cantaba.
