Life was what happened to Macaulay Culkin. As I said before, he did everything he chose to do, and lived his life the way he chose to live it. Macaulay is a human being, just like the rest of us. He deserves to be accepted, embraced, loved, respected, and understood. No matter what people might say or think about him, I hope Macaulay experiences years worth of happiness, joy and love.
If people ever asked me what I believe happened to Macaulay Culkin, I would tell them...
"Life. Life was what happened to him. Macaulay was having his own problems, making his own decisions and living his life the way he chose to live it. People are who they choose to be, and that's all there is to it."
Look at most child actors; the experience seriously fucks them up.
"Don't put your daughter on the stage, Mrs Worthington" is more true now than ever.
It's the fame, The media attention, the lack of personal space or privacy, the pressure of having to keep up an image, the sudden feeling that they're above consequences or all of the above that do it. And of course the conspiracy nuts going on about supposed ''Hollywood Pedophile Rings'' don't help.
