I feel like shutting down every nuclear power plant during the same week, and moving all uranium rods out of the region, would’ve had an effect on the electricity. Like the poke centers would start having to use fire Pokémon to replace keeping the lights on or something

Your right take a look at the perizian nuclear power plant in Ukraine they have it dormant now meaning the third largest active power plant in Europe is offline. To compensate gas and other forms of electricity have had to pick up the slack. So removing fuel rods and shutting down plants isn’t the simple solution.

Wind turbines or water wheels that use either natural sources or pokemon with corresponding abilities, or using a lightning rod of sorts to get electricity straight from your Pikachu. You can also use a manual version of a wind turbine for humans or strong Pokemon to use.

Theo is lowkey one of the smartest characters here. You literally just beat a legendary pokemon under the influence of radiation, AND you defeated that Gamma form of Urayne (and yes I called it, Curie was your mother. I straight called it, but then again it was so obvious). But yes, you saved the world, and his life, so you've already proven yourself the better trainer. You don't need a battle to prove that.

They are not safe long term, but people won't be dropping dead. They will just be dealing with more cancer, more malformed children, lower fertility. There has not been enough time for the effects of an increased background radiation to really take a super noticeable effect.

Holy shit, this is probably one of the best fan made games I’ve seen in a while. It’s got that good ol Pokémon charm and the mechanics look decent. It’s also refreshing to see a Pokémon game with a wild, interesting story compared to the mediocre plots of the main games (due to it being a kid-focused series). I’ve always wanted to have a Pokémon game where there’s some more drama and danger. This is exactly what I wanted and they served it well. Radioactive Pokémon is a great idea to implement into the series

I gotta say the twist at the end with Lucile was something i predicted from the start. But its a common trope that someone who was thought missing or dead was actually alive and committing 'evil' acts. This game does look pretty fun though and it would be cool if there was a more mature pokemon type game. It sucks most pokemon games are really easy and predictable. More developers should take inspiration from this game for sure!

It's poorly maintained and outdated equipment that causes issues, and those issues are incredibly rare. Out of nearly 500 active plants in the world, there have been exactly 3 major nuclear disasters, and ALL of them could have been avoided if people had just taken care of the plants like they were supposed to. Nuclear power has killed fewer people than ALL other forms of energy production and is _absolutely_ necessary if we want to have ANY hope of halting and/or reversing climate change.
