Hi Niomi, I hope you take this as curiosity and not a criticism as it comes from a well meaning place. You mentioned in your last vlog that Nihi invited you here so I assume this was a gifted stay or at least discounted stay for you both? And I saw that Victoria also went here on a gifted stay. The foundation work is great from the resort, but I’m wondering how you (and other influencers) on a discounted or free stay you are helping the cause or contributing. As guests, you will obviously take a huge amount of resources, electricity, food, workers time and taking space from paying guests. It’s great that you’ve highlighted the work the foundation do, but what is your actual impact on the foundation other than using up their resources? I also wonder if you realise by filming this it could be seen as a form of poverty tourism. Either way I would encourage you to look this up and the need for responsible travel practices especially where children are involved.
That doesn’t sound like curiosity. That sounds like nitpicking and judging, as if you are a better person and preaching to her. It’s negative and filled with but’s, and’s, and what’s. Leaving paragraphs with all your questions expecting answers for everything also isn’t all that friendly.

This person is actively travelling to impoverished places and filming themselves living lavishly at an extremely high end resort meanwhile children live in poverty. So she gets to go and hand out food to some kids and then go back to her 5 star hotel room and have a luxury dinner, and all is well? No. It’s a valid criticism and in 2024 these kinds of influencers have been held unaccountable for far too long.
It’s aspirational to live life as a holiday and not treat it as work. We only get on after all. She has her business so that she can live in this way. It’s something I strive for

It would appear that you have taken my genuine question as criticism and have hopped on to defend Niomi. Please note that questions are part of discussions, and I think she was trying to open up a discussion with this video by sharing her thoughts. There's no need to get defensive about that. I never accused her of not doing anything, I was simply asking what her own, personal favourite ways are which she finds most rewarding.

I like visiting the town my ancestors settled in and the house that my grandma was raised in every time I go back to that house and visit her grave and this year I visited the ancestors graves that crossed over from the potato famine .. I always look at my dissuasions like if my great grandparents will approve of me

This was such a beautiful vlog! I would love to see more of your real life as well though too. Experiences like this are amazing, but there’s something really nice about content that feels just down to earth and relatable too, where not everything has to be perfect and things go wrong, you get sad, stressed or down - not that I want you to feel those things of course - but even an amazing life has its down moments and I think it’d be so encouraging for people if you feel you’d be able to share more of that side if your life as well. No one is perfect, I’d love to see a moment when you just are like omg i totally just f***ed something up , haha🙏💕
OMG!!! I too have been seeing 11:11 and 22:22 everywhere for years now. Sometimes it's 2:22, but most of the time, 95% of the time, it's only these two sets of numbers. It's usually an everyday occurrence now. Never 55:55 or 7:77!
