His name is Green, it's just that when the games came to the west we got Blue version instead of Green version. The original games were Red and Green and Blue version was the revised version like Crystal, Emerald and Platinum. The versions we got here in the west were basically just Blue version (yes, the Red verison we got is just basucally a reskinned Blue version) since that was the more optimized version of gen 1.
And before anyone mentions Yellow version, that game is NOT part of the game canon. It is a game based on the anime and as a promotion for the anime it is a standalone title. And no, you don't play as Red in Yellow version, that is just someone (loosely)based on Ash.
They should have retconned Blue's western name back into Green with HGSS.
Since they didn't change the GBA remakes names to Fire Red and "Water Blue" or something, and everything after assumes Fr/Lg as the canon version (take Red's brown haired design, for example), they could very easily just called him Green because Leaf Green version. A few people would have bitched but it would go away soon.
Now instead every time we have to look at the ridiculousness of a guy named Blue who loves to dress in green clothing

The girl in Pokemon Adventure's name is technically Blue while the rival's name is Green. Their names did get swapped in the English version.
As for Yellow version, I'd assume that it has some form of weight in canon. Red's team in GSC and HGSS consists of Pokemon you get in Yellow (probably because they didn't want him to have favoritism for one starter, he gets all four of the Kanto starters just like how you're able to get the three Kanto starters in Yellow after getting Pikachu). It could also explain why his Pikachu hasn't evolved either.
Deh-sid-jew-eye is how you pronounce Rowlets final evolution. In-sin-eh-roar for Litten's final. Pri-ma-rina for Popplio's final.
Rowlet's final evolution is based of an extinct owl, which is why it's ghost type and also the description says it's super incredibly stealthy, like a ghost basically so that's the explanation for it's ghost typing.
Decidueye Ghost typing is because it's based on a grallistrix, a type of extinct owl from Hawaii, so it is a dead owl

Basically the rap is letting you know that Mimikyu can be just as cool as Pikachu, so it'd mean a lot if you caught it.

I'm sure this is answered before, but PinkMushroom Blue is dressed in green because he is originally known as Green in the Japanese version of Pokemon RBY.

As in Deciduous and Eye. You don't pronounce the "De" in "Deciduous" as "Dee," you pronounce it as "Dih." Listen to the pronunciation on dictionary.com if you want to hear it>

Xixaooolittleshark I find a lot of people that I know at least have trouble pronouncing new words right away, whereas I am able to figure out how words are pronounced pretty easily. I guess some people are just better at figuring out pronunciations then others.

Haha, broncofan99 basically just gave it away. I wanted to tease people. It's Lunala's first stage and baby form. That's what the pedestals are for, in the cutscene we saw them in, when they were first revealed. Put the babies there and do whatever, then enable them to evolve by exposing them to the Sun or the Moon ;)
The last screen of the mimikkyu trailer looks like the wondertrade screen, and if it is, and if the text is the same as it was in XY and ORAS, it says "take good care of mimikkyu!" :') what a cute way to end it omg

They talked a lot about Decigueye's arrows/quills/leafs throughout all the entries. I think it would have been a better attack than what we've got now.

Primarina's signature move is called Bubble Aria in Japan. Calling it Sparkling Aria must have either been a translation mistake or them changing the name to sound prettier or something.

There's some that has subtitles. It's Mimicyu. It says "I'm not Pikachu. I am Mimicyu." But yeah. You got the jist. It's Mimicyu saying that it's not Pikachu and to not confuse it. Oh and if it lets me, I'm going to start a game, transfer my starter to my bank so I can get all 3. XD Topu Lele reminds me of the phrase "Too much of what can heal, can kill" in regards to medicine and poison. Like if you take some pain killers, it'll reduce pain and promote healing. However, too much of the pain killers will send you into a coma and die (aka "Overdosing").

I know this is some kind of really late response but, with the Blue/Green problem you were talking, it's because his name in the original Red and Green versions of the games was in fact Green. The games were later translated as "Red and Blue" to the US and EU versions and therefore the name of the rival was changed to Blue aswell. Thats why they almost always make him wear green clothes :)
The reason why he's known as Green in some instances is because of Pokemon Green Version, which only came out in Japan. Blue Version, which is what we got, was essentially an updated, less glitchy version of Green. Sense we got Blue Version, we're more accustomed to calling him Blue.

Blue is always wearing green because in Japan he is named Green since their first pokemon games were Red and Green, with Blue being their third game. We got some new remix version with our Red and Blue as those were actually both somewhat based on the Blue version, with redone and revised sprites in it. However, since our first games were Red and Blue, they changed Green's name in english to reflect that.
Also, it would be awesome to see the female from Leaf Green in the game, I really wonder what other characters might we see? Alder? Serena and Calem? N? Gold? Silver? Wallace? Steven? Lance? Zinnia? Ash?

I think the reason Alolan Persian's head looks the way it does is because it's supposed to look more like an actual persian cat, which has a fat, flat face, unlike original Persian, which looks more like a siamese cat.
Watch Primarina get pixilate, explosion and boomburst... That thing's design makes it look like it could get some of the best moves, the dances, hyper voice, recovery moves, I can't wait to see it's moveset.

The name Blue and Green depends which country you are from, because when Japan first released the first Pokemon games back in 1997 the first two versions they made was Red and Green, that's why if you are in Japan the two original trainers were Red and Green and the blue version was later introduced. When they adapted the game to America, the blue version is already out in Japan and I guess Nintendo America chose the Blue version and they never officially released Green, that's why in NA their names were Red and Blue.
