- Hello everyone! It's been awhile, but I'm back and I'm showcasing all the GI Joe figures that I own as of June 2018. I hope you enjoy this video, it took a while to make. Thanks so much for watching! It's a long video so I congratulate you if you make it to the end :)

absolutely amazing bro! as a kid born in 1995 in Harlem ny, its rare to find 12 inch figs. so seeing this is almost making me cry. i only had 1 good figure, the rest were the later versions with the hand that comes off, i hated those. seeing yours tho is fun and fascinating.

Vietnam war series are so unique I would like to have it in my collection.
Wow man, I'm in awe at this collection. I grew up playing with GI Joe's and they were always my favorite toys. Usually people collect the little ones but the 1/6 scale Joes have always been the best. It makes me sad that they don't make them anymore as I'd love to play with them with my kids in the future.

Sir Mathus where do you get all of your Joe's from? I've started trying to collect them but so far I've only managed to get a hickam field Pearl harbor figure and the prices are usually outrageous.
I've gotten almost all my figures off eBay. Most I've paid anywhere from $20 to $50 on depending on the rarity of the figure. It takes a lot of waiting unfortunately to get some of them because of how rare and expensive they can be. There is a Desert Recon Joe listed right now for a pretty good price if you want to check it out on eBay. Not sure what your price range is but I think it's a good price for that one

Awesome video man! Love seeing how the collection has grown!! You should buy the D-day Salute figure. It has so many cool features and it would be a great piece to your collection!! Also, the Gi Joe Inchon figure is a cool marine from the Korean War and he has a BAR rifle!! Some cool options!

In Britain, GI Joe was rebranded as 'Action Man'. PC culture put a stop to the army/war aspect of Action Man and he disappeared only to reappear in the '00s as an extreme sports dude. That soon died off and then out came the HMAF Action Man figures which were pretty good - modern day British Army men, divers, snipers, pilots, infantrymen and some cool extra uniform packs and craft like quad bikes, a fast jet and a tank. Of course, the likes of Blue Box kept the flame alight albeit for adult collectors rather than kids. Great video!

@@sirmathus96 Boo....no more classic GI Joe figures in army/navy/USAF costumes. I even got a GI Joe 'footlocker' that had a carded wrapper containing guns, claymores, rifles and grenades over here in Scotland. Also, a GI Joe HALO paratrooper (which I've never actually tried out). All the best.
So so jealous of what you have managed to collect. If I ever win the lottery I have promised myself the same, I grew up with a huge collection of Action Man, lots of donated ones because I was raised in childrens homes. Now I am older and cherish the memories of hours spent playing with these I cant afford to replace them. I have one original palitoy action man and a few accessories i got cheap off ebay. Nowadays everybody sees them as an investment so the prices are huge. I just want them to keep and dress up and pose. And im 58 this year lol...... Best of luck to you, i hope you collect many more

I had a few of these as a kid. I had the Vietnam drill sergeant, WW2 Patton with the dog, and I believe the one that was astronaut themed for whatever reason

Triggering a lot of child hood memories. Came here to find out what the marine paratrooper was called, my brother use to have that one and I remember the rifle being so intricate and really cool, being 10 and 9 years old we lost all of the attachments fast. Also the figure to the left of it seems to be modeled off of the delta force sniper Randy Shughart. Pretty cool story to that guy

I just got my first gi joe doll today.I picked him up for only $5.00 Hes wearing a long grey coat and he has rubber boots on.Hes wearing a hat that has flaps hanging down on both sides and hes also wearing a pair of gloves.I wish i knew who he was??? This is my first gi joe.👍👍👍😀✌I also wonder what hes worth??? I hope to find more gi joes in the future.👍😀✌❤

Great collection! At my collections height I had over 180 joes and dragon figures, but now I've diluted it to about 35-40 and switched to collecting hot toys. I'm currently selling my revolutionary war minuteman figure on eBay...complete. Let me know if interested and I'll shoot yea the item #

My first one was the Marine Raider back in 2012, but I was a teen at that point. I actually didn't have any as a kid, my brother was the one who collected them and we played with them together. I didn't start collecting them till later on. That's awesome man! The Battalion Mortar Marine and Force Recon are two of my favorites, and two of the best ever made.
