Good job on both boards. All the children are going to love the dessert tray. Im gonna give it a go. These are good for someone needing to watch budget this year. Makes it very special.
These are so beautiful! Thanks for the inspiration. I'm fortunate to have a high quality thrift store, near me. This store has an amazing array of boards and serving platters (made of wood, ceramic, glass, stainless steel, etc). I find soooo many beautiful options, at amazing prices. I'm going to make one for this year's up-coming Easter holiday.

Just to let you know that you can't use most stains for handmade boards because they aren't food safe. I'm sure there is more than what I know but all I found to use was mineral oil to make mine food safe. Beautiful boards, love them both. ~ Sherry

I love charcuterie boards and had a thought about bringing them to my kids (grown with children) so ya, grandchildren. Could I actually make one and put it in fridge and how long would it keep? Sorry, just wondering. Your ideas are great!❤
It could keep for a day or so depending how covered it is

it really depends how much other food there is! its about 2oz of meat/cheese per person if its an appetizer

You didn't notice it Aldi's saves a lot of money when you shop there I mostly love to go there with my mom we go by there a lots of good stuff to eat sometimes we leave the store from there and we save lots of money in in in Audis
You know what I learned when delivering items. Place a yoga mat or workout mat. Works really good from keeping items from moving

Hello. I just found your channel and I will be binge watching this afternoon LOL but how do you store the board once you make it until it’s time to pull it out of the fridge? And how long is it good to sit out for when the party comes? I don’t think I’ll have a problem assembling the board. Yours looks absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for sharing.
Food is typically good to stay out for about 3-4 hours! I usually clear out a shelf in my fridge for it to stay on until it’s time to eat! If I’m transporting it I use a box or a board with sides

I loved all of it... I do however wonder what is the purpose of the frosting? What do you put it on? Everything else on that board was already sweet coated candy or cookie. Just wondering.

What if you put it on a cute wooden tray with higher edges instead of a cutting board?
This way the stuff wont slide off and its easier to cover

What is the Santa shaped thing ? Does it get unwrapped by you or guest ? And when ?
It’s cheese, usually it get cut into & the guests take the wax off their piece

you left the spot next to the grapes emptier than anything else? everything else is PACKED except that one spot.
I'm surprised about a couple of things here. I feel you should've snipped the grapes into small sections, for ease of serving, and sliced at least a few slices of each cheese, to get things going. One was even still in the wax wrapper! What guest is going to pick up an unopened cheese, peel off the wax and slice some? That's YOUR job.
I typically slice it once people arrive. Who wants to eat cheese that was sliced hours before?
Just purchased the Santa cheese, any tips on how to serve it? I see you put it on the board untouched…
You could unwrap it & cut it or just put a knife for others to cut it!

Couldn’t the chocolate dip have gone in a clean bowl? It grosses me out for a grocery container to be touching foods. I’m a germaphobe lol.
I suppose it could have. I normally wipe down things like this that’ll be touching food if it’s for other people
