The Scots pine grows on a rocky outcrop near the former site of Chudobin village, which was sadly lost when the River Svratka was flooded to form the Vír reservoir. It is a dominant feature in the landscape, resisting extreme fluctuation of weather and fluctuations of water level, it is a firm favourite with local people as well as with numerous tourists.
The winnner of the Czech national contest TREE OF THE YEAR 2019. A tree that graduated actually to the contest European Tree of the Year 2020.
