This old vet is pulling up a chair. Being a disabled vet, with TBI and PTSD, existing under a VA program for homeless vets. Yeah this song hits hard for me. Salute my brother and sister veterans. May you be finding peace with the battle within.
Our country asked us to go and stand tall in hell and then when we came home broken we were pushed aside like we don't matter. Ptsd is bad enough but mix in survivors guilt and that is a recipe for disaster. I know because I live with it everyday. I am just thankful for the support and love I have now.
Happy memorial day from the uk I'm only young but i do know my grandfather was in the royal navy and without all these brave service men and women we wouldn't be here love to all who fight for us ❤
FFDP are huge supporters of our military and veterans. Thank you to the men and women in our military that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. God Bless The USA and its Fallen ,Past and Active service members. Also would recommend Bad Company by them when they played in Iraq in 2010.

As a vetran who served from 88-94seen combat twice in 91 and 93 I have a sicknesses watching these reaction videos because it seems to be the only time civilians get that sick feeling in there gut sorry but remember that feeling because we feel it continuously

That said, thank you for this reaction. As a Navy vet myself, this song hits hard for me, because of my brother. While he wasn't killed in action overseas while in the USMC, he lost his best friend and Battle Buddy to a sniper's round in Afghanistan. When he got home, I was the only one who could help him deal with the horrors of war that he saw. Thankfully, my family never had to deal with a funeral detail (the two Army soldiers in berets) coming to our door and giving us their news. Me, my brother, and my uncle, thankfully, each made it home from our individual services. Yet many families lost someone they loved in combat as KIA, or later to service-related depression and taking their own lives.
It is because of songs like this that I hope beyond hope, that we can #EndThe22 and #EndThe5000 -- preventing the loss of 22 veterans a day, 5,000 veterans a year, who take their own lives by their own hands. My heart goes out to all families who has lost a loved who served, whether at home or abroad, because we do not do enough for the ones that fought for us, so that we don't have to.
Again, ladies, thank you for your reaction. It is a poignant reminder of the price military servicemembers, no matter the country, pay around the world.
So we can be free.

The 3 bracelets he's wearing at the end of the video represent his fallen brothers that were killed in action. It's a shame how our country treat our vets who gave everything only to be treated this way, now all the resources are going to the illegals crossing our borders everyday who did nothing for this great nation. Happy memorial day would sound disrespectful as you cannot feel happy when someone is dead because they might think you are mocking or threatening their deaths which is bullying.
