- Hey guys!
In this video we'll show how to design and simulate a voltage charge controller for a battery. i.e. The battery stop charging once it reaches a certain voltage value that corresponds to a particular SOC.
The base model for simulation can be found in the link below.

Thank you sir, It help me for my project simulation, you told us easy way to understand the problems.
Thank you for your all videos sir🙂

Hello, Can u plz explain how did u calibrated PID controller?
Hello sir, thx for the video it’s very educational! Where can I part 3? And how should I amend the circuit if I want to regulate the voltage supplied to the load, e.g. i want to charge a 3.7 lipo battery and a load which need constant 1.4v supply. Cause in this case when the input voltage is 5v and in charging mode, the battery is charging but the load is also at 5v, whereas in discharging mode, the load voltage depends on the battery voltage
hello sir, when can you upload the cccv version with part 1 and part 2 merged? thanks
can you share the reference file from where you specified the values of resisters, capacitors, PID controller, etc
Hey, I found your video interesting to simulate, but I want to know the reasons of using inductances in parallel as well as in series as shown in circuit.
plus, can you tell me the reason behind using the values for the PID controller, please
sorry what are the values of both pi, seens your control reacts different :c thnkss
Hey, Thank You very much. You earned a subscriber. The insights were wonderful.
I had a question though, why were the capacitors for the buck converter circuit omitted? And yes, do upload a CCCV version of the battery charging (both part1 and part2 merged with some control logic).
you should be able to add it, I don't think there should be a problem. Its usually added for voltage stabilisation, of the converter.
You're right capacitor could be added.

Hi, Thank you very much for this video. can you teach me how to generate graph (E-Bike 12V) battery voltage vs speed using matlab simulink?
Sir can you pls make simulation of multilevel charging technique of li ion
How did u get the value of value of voltage as 25.99 ? 85% of (?)
Sry for the late response 😔 Wish you're doing well ☺️ it's open circuit voltage at 85 % SOC, hope this helps
Sir, when can you upload the discharging part?
We'll include both the videos you requested for along with the video tutorials we'll do in future, Coming Soon!😎
@@TheUrbanScholar please we are waiting on you SIR
Sir can you please upload cc-cv combined simulink model
Can u send me the reference paper of this block ?i need to study more on it please
Sry for the late response 😔 I've sent it to your mail pls check and let me know 🙂
Try to construct whole standalone pv power system with converter and inverter

Sir can I have simulink file?
why is the current negative?
First of all sry for the late response 😔When current is entering it is negative, when it leaving it's positive, hope this helps 😄
Hello sir! Can you plz tell me the reference paper of this model.....

@@TheUrbanScholar Thankyou very much sir
Can I get the report of this project?
We can help you get the references
what the value of reference current please?
Hi Salah! Hope you're doing well. As the title suggests. Its a constant voltage controller. Our other video, shows constant current. Check it out.
@@TheUrbanScholar HELLO
Check the control block there is A reference current you did not mention to it in the previous video and when you start this part 2 I saw this block so here that I am asking about it and another question could I remove the ideal switch and make just one control block to make the battery charge and discharge.
@Se Salah Greetings, Sorry for the confusion. The reference block in the beginning of the video is just a from to block. We drag it out and make it a go to block which holds the value of "Reference Current" i.e. the output of the PI controller. The PI controller looks to change the refrence current value to ensure that the SOC doesnt charge above 85% SOC. I.e The current will reduce to 0 as the SOC reaches 85%. Hence the reference value for this case is a changing parameter
@@TheUrbanScholar .thanks
could you please send me both models?
