I’m gonna tell you how this movie is going to play out.. a lady does evil things randomly after living a good life, she then has a child who is her first born. The child becomes spawn of some sort of demon and everywhere she goes evil follows her. Some people die. They perform an exorcism. The preacher is all like “leave this vessel now”. the demon leaves, then at the end of the movie the demon they thought they killed just moved to another host and suddenly the movie leaves you on edge and maybe there’s a part 2. How’d I do ???

God I'm actually sick of people saying original this original that when movies have been made for over 100 years, theaters have put on plays for over a thousand years and stories have been told for hundreds of thousands of years. We are fucking played out when it comes to new ideas. There are no new ideas. It's just like music. Everything is a sampling of something else that's already been made. There is nothing original anymore.

With this being a prequel, I'm a bit confused. The child who would become Damien Thorn was supposedly born of a jackal, not a woman. Or is it that she identifies as a jackal? We shall see.
My theory is whoever gave birth to damien, it might have been a human regardless, but when she died giving birth to Damien, I’m assuming somebody or the devil, transformed her into the body of a dead jackal!
So where's the payoff? The church releases the antichrist, and still think they'll be let into heaven when they die? Sounds like they didn't think this all the way through.

Not only does this not even look scary, aren't we tired of the scary boogeyman demon stuff? Didn't we just have a demon possession movie last year? And then this is a reboot of The Omen. Goodbye!
people tripping about the jackal don't understand how irrelevant that is... it's just a plot device to let the audience know damien is unnatural, like he could have been born from a tree stump and the story would be exactly the same lol
