Poor baby. You could just see the curiosity all over his face and knew he was gonna shock himself. Thank goodness D'jeeco was there to make sure he was OK. This is the 3rd time I've seen Ringo shock himself by touching those. We only see a few minutes of their day so I wonder how many times he's done this 😂😂😂

@@sonjavandam1306 Yes my friend...3rd ⚡ zap for Ringo. It took Jabali a few zaps as well before he remembered. Jabali: Eek! 😖. That was quite uncomfortable. I must make sure I steer clear of those ⚡things wrapped around certain 🌴 trees.

Meu lindo tocou pela segunda vez no fio, é horrivel levar choque, eu não entendo porque tem um fio em um lugar com gorilas e bebês gorilas, já levei vários choques leves, é horrível, ainda bem que Diego que é um ótimo pai estava perto e socorreu meu lindo Ringo, feliz dia dos gorilas, que as pessoas se conscientizem da importância desses animais magníficos e a semelhança com o animal racional, precisamos evoluir, esyamos regredindo. This isn't new.. can't have the gorillas climbing the trees to escape... it's a mild voltage....he will learn quick enough.
@@esthercom5672 The voltage is extremely low-this is pretty much a staple of security for animals and human visitors. That's why you don't see a lot of bars as in the old zoos-they enable more spacious areas for the animals-and that's what it's about. I don't know about you, but I am sure they don't want bars nor do I to view them. They also protect the trees and other mechanical workings to power the exhibit. (like auto waterers and lighting)

@@sonjavandam1306 yes, without this security system, we'd go backwards and have to put up tiny buildings full of bars...like in the past--they don't deserve that. A mild shock teaches them not to encroach that particular area. For their OWN safety, too.

In Taiwan, it is too hot in summer and needs to be shaded by trees, so it is important to protect trees in zoos.
