Sure, the media does blow things out of proportion, but you can't sit here and blindly deny the stupid way he's behaved last year. Facts are facts.
Ofcourse he did stupid things... but thats part of growing up. If a normal person did the stuff he did no one would give a shit. What I mean is that he is growing up.. but his heart and personality always stayed the same :) and I am saying this because he is the exact same age as me.. I grew up with him (not like in RL) but I experimented.. went out to clubs.. got wasted... got a speed ticket lol its life yknow. But yes its stupid that he drove while he was under the influence of alcohol and that he pissed in a bucket and that he made racist jokes. But still.. no one is perfect.
(Plus damn.. I don't know how many people I have come across who make racist jokes or jokes about ppl with down syndrome or gay jokes. And they arent being shot down about it)
Side not: yes I think Justin is a role model so the racist jokes were just fucking dumb. But it is not his job to raise children.. its the parents job. Sorry this got so long lmao
ConquerUrFears yup I see what you mean..Of course there are young people who have done much crazier stuff; the difference is that JB is in the public eye and has an enormous following consisting mostly of kids/teens. Therefore he has a particular responsibility in the society, knowing that his actions may influence other kids.
On the bright note, he seems to be in a better place and hopefully he chooses to surround himself with positive ppl only. Based on his interviews, he seems like he is honest with himself and knows how to self-reflect, and I think deep down he takes moments to reevaluate his behavior. Im rooting for him because he is talented and is very likeable :)

I'm not a fan but I gotta hand him credit for getting his act together. Not just from this video, but just in general and by his social media I can see that he's shaping up. I never saw him as a bad person, I think he was just in a "I'm young and reckless" phase for the last two years, like every late teenager goes through.
