    I feel like it’s important to emphasize that African American Vernacular English (AAVE) is a legitimate dialect and not necessarily indicative of lesser education or lower class. A lot of people use that dialect and are perfectly intelligent and successful, it’s just that they grew up hearing and speaking that dialect.

      Clearly shouldn’t be teaching something they don’t understand and then try to downplay. Stick with regular English and let us teach our own dialect since it’s so unintelligent.

      Why wouldn't correct way to say be "TO improve" or "improving"?

      You're right. I was correcting the use of "work out," not the whole example. The correct would be "working out for me TO improve my English skills" (not "improving" in this case).

    It was very good approach. Its really very difficult to learn english watching movies by my own. If someone is explaining to you on every parts of the scene and helps you as a tutor then whats else we need than it ! Great job I appreciate your programme

    Last week I had an important exam and I was really afraid to fail it, thus I decided to study very hard the night before, and you know what it worked out very well for me because I passed the exam!

    I had tears in my eyes at the end of the video. Awesome lesson, but I have to admit that is is a challenge for me. And it reminded me when I told you about my fear of using slang words, well, for sure, it's worth to know them.

    Present Continuous- Everything is WORKING OUT well/ This friendship is not WORKING OUT.
    Past Continuous- His new method was WORKING OUT perfectly/ The new school wasn't WORKING out

    I grew up watching the Fresh Prince and I loved Will's character in the show. Will has been a huge actor since his beginning and all his roles have always been really credible. Film after film he became one of the best actors ever in my opinion. I love everything he does !!
