Hi!
I've started this video long time ago but I have never had time to finish it, but now I actually don't have a time to start something new so I've finished this one ;P
I know that Katherine and Elijah is really old story but I miss Nina Dobrev so much in the show! She was incredible in every role; Elena, Katherine, or Tatia.. of course I like her the most as a Katherine ;) I wish that they finished Kalijah with the beginning of TO.. It's still weird for me to watch on Elijah with Hayley when he was so many years (actually centuries) in love with Katherine...
I've added a few scenes from The Originals and those when Nina appeared in Elijah's memories. Hope you like it :)

I think the reason Katherine cared for Stefan was because he reminded her of her one true love; Elijah. His nobility, humility, grace are all similar to Stefan yet heightened.
Samantha Nelson, it shows how you didn’t concentrate while watching tvd and to. amara was the first immortal and she has her doppelgängers: (in order) tatia, katherine and elena. both elijah and klaus fell in love with tatia, but tatia chose elijah. she then died when elijah fed on her when he first became a vampire. then after sometime, both klaus AND elijah met katherine, elijah loved her only because of the resemblance to tatia, his first love. and that is it. the video is mixed with tatia and katherine too.

If you notice Elijah and Klaus are only caracter that call her " Katerina" and not "katherine" and I think that is beautiful

If it's worth something Daniel Gillies, Elijah's actor who had famously a big role in creating his character and all his nuances, said that if it were up to him, Elijah would end up with Katherine as he thought she'd suit him the best and he loved her the most

I hate the fact that they killed of Katherine and made her the queen of hell. She was simply one if the best caharacters of the show and she had the best backstory. Instead if turning her into the supervillain, the writers should make her one of the protagonists. And it's not like she couldn't be forgiven for what she did. She did all those things because she wanted to survive. Instead, Damon and Stefan did horrible things to other innocent people just because the were mad or because the were dealing with a heart break and they got forgiven and found peace at the end. I can't stand how horrible did the writers write the plot after one point..
I agree. Katherine is the only vampire character on the show who always had a proper reason to kill. Except for the finale (i mean her intentions) it was sm out of character... she never acted like that for revenge... not once. And if she wanted revenge she would go after klaus that makes more sense. So i think it wasn't what she wanted I think she wanted to be killed and destroyed so she can escape the pain and the whole burning down mystic falls was all just set up cause if she wanted that she wouldn't go after damon and walk straight into their traps. She is clever and a survivor and not that stupid. So i think it was all on porpuse

@@kevinbejko6885 klaus has done worse things... he literally killed everyone she loved back in 1492 and also it wasn't entire mystic falls that killed her daughter. After analysing the finale more and more i realised it wasn't out of character. She just really had another plan. She definitely did not want to burn down mystic falls. A very big hint is the fact that katherine never takes risks (not even small risks). She even kills to not takes risks. Yet she made kelly tell them all about her "plan" which would be a HUUUUGE risk. The truth is that was all part of her plan. She definitely wanted to die. And the true plan was kept secret. There are many more things... also that with quotes we see why she wanted to die. She really lost hope in season 5. But she came to hell and suffered more. So she wanted to destroy her soul to stop the suffering. It makes perfect sense
I agree, the writers never gave her a chance to improve and Its not fair because almost every other character in the show could, an example of that is Damon. Katherine deserved better, she was indeed the MOST interesting character of the show, a strong woman with a lot of possibilities but her death was cruel and stupid. She didnt deserve hell, she deserved a second chance. Also Elijah and her were literally meant to be...

This is how it should of been. He should of bloody visited her on her death bed. He's the man in her love in her life who loved her as a human and adored her when wanted to start over in that little town. Plus some of her storyline got messed up along the way. Not all of it like her daughter coming back for her but some other stuff.

I feel like all the dobblegangers are the same at their core, but life changes them. Tatia, Katerina, Amara, and Elena had great loves in their lives, they were brave, fierce, smart, playful, kind, and hopeful. Katherine’s kindness and hope were taken away though by her first love leaving her, losing her first child, her parents turning their backs to her, being betrayed by her new loves, being hunted, and a past love killing her parents, the seeing someone not only dating your ex, but them almost literally having the life you could of had. Katherine just was dealt a bad hand. But I do think Elijah fell in love with Katherine and it wasn’t just because she looked like Tatia. At first maybe, but I think he also think he saw they’re similar personalities and their differences. I think he fell deeper in love with her than Tatia, because she could understand him more. If you see Elijah with Elena, he was gentle with her, probably because she reminded him of them, but he didn’t fall for her. Which is why I think he actually loved Katherine and not just because of her similarities to Tatia. Elijah knew there was good in her as he knew there was bad in him.
Just the way Stefan fell in love with Elena... Her resemblance to Katherine but for her personality.

I wished that they let Katherine find peace instead of bringing her back to be a villain again when she would've been at peace with her daughter. So then when Elijah died they could've had them find peace with each other. Kalijah was the best relationship. She tried to be better for him and he always tried to find the good in her.
Daniel gilliies and nina Dobrev have great chemistry....
They could have been the best TVD ship of all time if only the writers had cared. I loved the fact that he chased her for 500 years and wanted to discover again who Katerina was. Also, this could have been so iconic because they were both old vampires and not the tiring formula of vampire falls in love with teenager that the used all the time.
I am sorry but, this made me cry. I really wanted Elijah and Katherine to be together. Even though the curse was broken and Klaus got what he wanted eventually, He just could not stand seeing other people in love. Also he held a personal grudge against her cause she fought to live and not die as poor Elena did.

i didn't ship elijah with katherine after how he treated her on 4x18 (honestly both he and klaus should've thanked her for what she did not treat her as a monster) but this video is so perfect and shows so much potential and connection it made me cry not to mention the flawless editing, the perfect manips you're really talented and it shows

I was really disappointed with Elijah too in the episode which you mentioned, but in 4x19 he begged Klaus for her freedom, so it didn't mean that he gave up on her :)

They'r my fav ship. I feel like they could have definitely been the best ship of the series. They'r both old vampires and truly loved each other and could have been better with each other. It's sad the writers ruined it. Katherine would have changed for him and he wouldn't have killed himself in the originals because he would have had reason to live. I also feel like he treated her bad like she was sm a monster while we all know Elijah isn't definitely an angel and did a lot of bad stuff too and then always judge others. I love Elijah's character but I didn't like that. They had great chemistry. While Hayley and Elijah felt a lot forced. Love this edit btw ❤️

I ship Kalijah with all my heart and soul. They are epic and beautiful. I dislike Haylijah. It is like the writers were forcing Halijah to happen so that there is a ship on The Original since they can't officially ship Klaus with anyone without immediately angering Klaroline fans. She is still the teen-pregnant brother's baby mama. Having feeling for her is gross and wrong on so many level.

It is incredible how the writers didn’t give importance to the most potencial ships of the serie: Klaus with Caroline and Katherine with Elijah. They deserved an happy ending. It is sad…everything because this relations wouldn’t have allowed to give attention to Delena.

I think that people forget that Elijah is a mixture of all the things that she liked about both Damon And Stefan . So i think the real reason that Katherine fell for both Damon and Stefan at first because both Salvadore boys had personality traits that she loved about Elijah but problem was that both Salvadore boys all had traits in their personalities that reminded her of Klaus too .
