The benefit of these bifold doors is their thermal efficiency, with a U value of just 1.0 W/m2K for triple glazing and 1.6 1.0 W/m2K for double glazing. Hi Paul, the 15 year guarantee refers to the aluminium powder coating on the Ultra composite doors. with a 10 year guarantee against manufacturing faults, including all of our glass units (most companies only give 5 years on the glazing). The Ultra doors are low maintenance, unlike hardwood doors which need to be re-coated after a period of time.
