Law can at least patch it at the end if Kiku survives the encounter. For wars Law is probably the most reliable ally to cure disembodyments.

That is such an Orochi thing to say. And your delivery was perfect.
I think what Kaido means about that old wound was the break in his spirit that he suffered that day. Oden was the only one who could scar him which probably dropped Kaido down a peg in terms of confidence in his own physicality. To him, the Scabbards are nothing more than mere imitations of Oden. Although they cut him, they couldn’t deal a blow to Kaido’s spirit like Oden had. That’s my interpretation of that line. Take it as you will peeps
Yep .. If oden CUT kaido, the scabbards here probably only just SCRATCHED him .. He was expecting to feel that rush again but once he realized they were not at oden's level, he started getting serious with his attacks to get rid of them.. I'm sure luffy is the one who will give him that rush again, not particularly with lethal attacks per se but I think with his infinite endurance to keep taking hits and rise back up again.

Well, that makes sense, but also he could just mean the cuts they gave him over his scar were not nearly as deep as the original.
Kaido's attacks remind me of an old-school side-scroller boss. The more he gets damaged the attacks he unlocks. First its the boro breath, then the lightning and now its the wind blades.
Once he’s defeated the screen shakes and he recoils put a view into smoke, the smoke clears and the final boss fight starts in his true form. Music changes fight starts

This is why I want somebody to make a JRPG 2D version of the Wano arc once it’s done. It would be dope if Luffy’s limit breaks were changing gears that each have different attacks but they only last for a few turns. I could see an awesome Kaido vs Strawhats final boss in that.

@@romram7984 maybe not after the war like it might of lost to much blood and already rotting in a celler level but i dont remember how fast he lost his arm than put it back during dressrosa so maybe he will have to do it right away or room out some dead cell and room in new cell and fresh blood whatever funky medical skill he does lol.
@@zerokura was a few good minutes. Alternatively, he could probably just take a living/recently dead person's arm and modify it to match Kiku's remaining one, then attach that. Op-Op fruit is OP.

I never imagined that two of the Emperors would have psychological issues that they should get help with and also are a weak point in their armors

Kaido was also drinking before. When Kaido surprised Oden by expecting him and his men, Oden said that the plan was to catch Kaido off guard and cut his drunken head off and not fight him head on. Something like that. So Kaido was drinking before he got cut.

As far as showing the capital and such it seriously does show how the people of Wano have it bad which reminds me of how the saiyans were treated under Frieza’s thumb and it’s ironic at how right the Wano civvies hit the proverbial nail on the head with them talking about the rebellion actually happening literally as they speak. Also Tekking as for sasaki’s fruit I can see it either as stego, triceratops or ankylo to play on the defensive theme

They did something lol , might not have been very effective though 😂😂
I knew they would never beat him. But after setting them up and samurai in general, to have them do nothing is just lackluster. At least have them bloody him up, and not just make it to make Kaido look good. All of Wano and even before Wano the samurai had been set up to be amazing warriors, but in the end it seems that only Ryumo and Oden were actually any good.

I'm convinced in place of Apoo, Sanji will end up joining Luffy, Zoro, Kidd, Law, Killer, Hawkins, Drake, and Yamato on the roof to face off against Kaido and THAT'S the Toki prophecy being fulfilled. Tekking, you missed a great joke. Instead of opening as Jason, you could have introduced the chapter "The Dream of Wano" as Freddy Krueger, and done a bit more with that skit.

I interpreted what Kaido said about them slashing his wound has him saying that even with all of their power focused on his one weak point the best they could do was make him bleed a little. Honestly the way it's drawn it doesn't look like it's that serious of an injury (especially compared to the stuff we've seen happen to other characters)
