Superman used to be my most hated Superhero. Then my sister, who knew I liked comics, told me to watch Smallville. I wasn't interested until I saw Kristen Kreuk. After the interviews I'm glad to see that the producers of the show and the writing they allowed didn't sit well with everyone. It was always phenomenally casted. But they never gave the cast much to chew on which is why I guess the behind the scenes stuff was so "let me out of here". I applaud the actors and actresses more than I do the actual show. And that incredible theme song from Remy Zero.

I think the best thing is listening. Not doing everything they tell you to or complain about, but listen, take it in, and then decide if maybe they're right or not. That goes a long way. Anyone who knows Lana wouldn't have written this episode and Kristen knew her character very well. If they'd listened, they'd have known and at least throw in a line about Lana wanting to try something new, to step out of her comfort zone or something. Maybe even make it the theme of the episode. But no, they decided they were right and so they were. That's a problem with many creative people, I think (me included, but I worked on it a lot and I don't think I do it that often anymore).

All three of these actors are aging beautifully and so gracefully. Amazing genes/genetics, and I’m sure it helps that they are well-off financially and have the ability to have a team of experts/professionals, such as personal trainers and/or nutritionalists, etc. to help along their journey and with their fitness goals. Episode was a bit like Supernatural. Kristin did an amazing job. Massive Chloe fan here. Season 6 is my favorite Smallville season. It hinted at a possible Clark and Chloe pair up. Chloe loved Clark the most IMO. Michael and Bryce probably think at this stage Clark and Chloe are better as friends. I disagree strongly. I do hope Smallville fans give Supernatural some love. Many Smallville fans I speak to just couldn’t get past the first 2 episodes of season 1. I would love for Jensen to come on the podcast if only for a few minutes. I would love to hear his thoughts on the vampire episode lol 😂 Dean Winchester would know what to do. God Bless and love the podcast. 5x16 “Hypnotic,” is the only Smallville episode in 10 seasons I thought sucked. “Noir,” “Agless,” are all episodes I love. I don’t know why people hate them. One of my dnd buddies in college told this story of how one time he was playing with another group, and they fought their way to the head vampire. And he had a lisp. Everyone busted out laughing. And he was like, is this what your characters do? and they said yes. I forget now what roll was involved, but basically the vampire couldn't use his fear ability or I think mesmerize/mind control also. I think the exact line he said the vampire first said was, Thooo thinners, you think you could dethroy me. or something like that
