  • There we are, the first ever fixie build of the channel!
    I had to start with my beloved Surly Steamroller and with a tracklocross build. The setup is pretty standard, but with reliable and amazing parts such as: Shimano Dura-Ace cransket, H Plus Son archetype wheels, Panaracer Gravelking tyres, Paul Racer brakes, NItto Bullmoose and so on!
    Enjoy and subscribe!

    C'est de toute beauté, et perso j'aime beaucoup les Gravelking SK, surtout en gros diamètre.

    I really liked this bicycle, I think I will try to ride one, the thing is that where I live there are many unevennesses 🎉

      Thanks Kevin 🙏
      I really love the bullmoose. On this build it's probably the best bars I could have ask for.
      And thanks for the sweat 😁😁

    I run my Drink More Water Yellow Steamroller with 38mm Gravelking SKs as well. HED Belgium rims and in single speed mode. I think I'm going to take it out this week.

      @victorfixienerd  Před 7 měsíci

      I went for 35c in the end, but 38s are great for low pressure and muddy rides 😉

    I recently built up a Steamroller myself and I squeezed in a 40mm tire on mine. I have a size 49cm frame and I had to use a half-link chain to make things work. 42-tooth chainring and 16-tooth cog.

    • @victorfixienerd
      @victorfixienerd  Před 7 měsíci

      Yeah that's the way to do it.
      But i didn't wanted to play with half link and ratio that is not the one I like 😁

      Totally! Next time I’ll do the same as you and get smaller diameter tires.

    very nice bike, is that steel or aluminium frame ?

    • @victorfixienerd
      @victorfixienerd  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Hey, steel frame. Quite heavy in 62cm actually 😅 but really good if I wanna go track packing

    seems like now there is fanboys for bike-parts just like computer-parts or lego-sets. they buy everything good just to put it on theyre shelfes and than sit in theyre rooms on the computer and hunt for more. its crasy.

    • @victorfixienerd
      @victorfixienerd  Před 5 měsíci

      Fanboy everywhere :-)
      But I actually love getting those amazing-beautiful-overpriced parts shred to death 😝

    • @1nicko29
      @1nicko29 Před 5 měsíci

      i dont really find the steamroller frame overpriced. same with most of the other parts. you just get better quality for more money. at the end of the day you might even save money on repairs and replacements. if u have a bike this nice, you should ride it as much as you can. its not for looking at. @@victorfixienerd
