Loved this vid and am so excited to follow your mudlarking adventures! Would like to try it, sadly though it's not a thing in Sweden. Love all your nerdy videos!
I’ve been looking forward to your mudlarking videos , cannot wait to see what treasures you’ll find 😌
Thank you!
This is so exciting! I started following a couple of mudlarkers on CZcams during the pandemic and it’s so interesting to see what is found and the history behind it all!
So did I! So interesting isn't it xxx
I love this video so much! I used to go sea glass hunting but have always wanted to try mudlarking. Would you do more?! ❤
I didn't know about mudlarking until you talked about it on your channel and I was so looking forward to this video. I love it, please do make it a series! I hope you find more treasure in the future!
Thanks so much!
Love it, didn't know mud larking existed, sooo interesting, I often find blue China pieces in my garden.
Yes defo more mud larking.
Oh wow!
Loved this. Definitely make a series!
Also, I love your necklace at the end when you're chatting about the research you'd done into your finds. I've been looking for one exactly like it! Can you please tell me where it's from?
Thanks so much! The necklace is from Missoma :)
Love the mudlarking vlogs- please keep them coming! If I lived in London, it would absolutely be something I’d do ✨
Thanks lovely x
Mudlarking isn't something I'm personally mega interested in, but I loved watching your video. It's lovely watching you so excited about it, and clearly enjoying yourself 😃 xx
Thanks Katie
Please keep making these, mudlarking is fascinating! If I lived in London I would definitely want to do it myself. Love the pipe you found, star find 🤩
Thanks so much!!
Love, love, love this series Katie! Please keep it up. I live in the U.S. and am so envious of those that can mudlark along the Thames. I have gone gem mining before which is fun, and gone to a park called Fairystone in Virginia where you can find naturally made crosses that only occur in a few places in the world.
Thanks so much lovely. Omg gem mining sounds so fun!
Really enjoyed this, being from East London, I don’t really appreciate everything that’s on my doorstep but find it all very interesting. Can’t wait for more❤
Thank you!
So interesting! Loved this…can’t wait for the next one☺️👍🏻
Addicted. Please make this an ongoing series of videos. ❤
Thank you! I'm on it xx
Yay I’ve been waiting for this one since you first mentioned it. I’d love to get a permit and do this. Sadly going it alone isn’t the safest and I don’t know London areas at all. Looks like you had fun though!
Ahhh that's such a shame! It's very fun. I think there are actually mudlarking group walks you can go on with a group!
Really loved this! Would love to see more :) Great finds!!!
Thanks Martine xx
Please do more of these videos, so fun!
I found this quite interesting to watch and a nice change of video and would want to see more!😊
Really enjoyed this, so fun to have something different! So interesting! 💕
Thanks so much! 😊
Love this! So much tray-sure!!! Keep the mudlarking videos coming
Thanks lovely x
Love to see all these treasures, I love things like this, sadly ,I don't think a license is available to beachcomb in other areas?
I think you only need one for the thames!
You're so cool! Random but so interesting! I found it really comforting x
Thank you x
Also your leather object at 14.00 is a bilge pump cover from a boat, so the first answer you had is correct 😊👍🏻👣🧡
Oh wow!! Thank you so much for this, much appreciated!! Love your channel xx
A great first lark!
More of these videos Kate loved it! X
Thanks lovely xx
Love this! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
this is so cool!
It's really inspiring and fun to follow you explore new hobbies every time 😊 thank you for taking us with you!
Love this comment, thank you xx
I learnt about mudlarking from you, I wish I had some place to do this near me! I really like this kind of content
Thanks Isabella! People find great stuff in local ponds too!
Hi Katie this is Penny from Virginia some old trucks have leather hardware on them do you think it could be off of an old trunk from an old ship or something like that and I do love your mud locking adventures keep it up thanks
Ohhh great shout x
My husband and I visited the Free Mason museum in London. Really interesting!
I need to visit properly!
I'd be in my element doing that! I'm also crouched somewhere picking up bits of blue and white china when I go on walks - my boyfriend thinks I'm mad 😅 So i love this video series idea! Satisfying to watch. So apparently (iirc) when shells have holes in them like that they're from a little sea creature (a snail I think) who drills them to eat whatever is inside the shell!
I love this! Oh the sea creature fact is great! Thank you xx
My husband says that the long mail is a railway nail
Oh that's so interesting!!
I think the leather thing with the nails is the heel from a boot 🥾
That's what I originally thought too!
That symbol on the pipe is the Freemasons crest/symbol - a square and a compass with a G in the middle (I think)
Yes! So good x
Why is there so much china in the Thames?
I did! Back in 2018, it'l be on my channel :)
at 5:20 it looks like a cannonball
Ommgggg
Where are all these things washed up from, sunken ships?
People used to throw things in the Thames, thrown off boats, things that were stolen, all sorts. :)
@@sejbomb thank you, very interesting
Your pipe piece looks masonic
We should start an online mudlarking club and share all our found treasures 🫣🤗
Omg I would actually love this!!! I could set up a Facebook group or a discord??
