Kildare County Council: Overview of plans for M4 Bus Priority Measures Pilot

Kildare County Council has launched a Public Consultation as part of the Part 8 Planning Application for the first Bus Priority pilot to be trialled in Ireland. The project will see the introduction of hard shoulder bus priority measures on the M4 Eastbound. The project will run from Junction 7 Maynooth through Junction 6 Celbridge finishing at Junction 5 Leixlip and include emergency refuge areas and noise mitigation measures, representing a significant step towards sustainable transport in Ireland.
