I appreciate the work you put into these videos! Keep them coming! Greetings from Mexico.
Wow thank you for the donation 🎉 My 3 hungry cats appreciate it. Muchas gracias!
I actually got the Enigma machine! Pays being a history nerd sometimes! The bonus answer is PAC-MAN!
Correct! Thx for playing!
0/30. My new record! Bonus Q: Dickens, as in "where in the Dickens are the Ghostbusters when you need them?"
Hate to bring the news but it's also a miss on the bonus question :(. The answer I was looking for was Pacman.
I'm old enough to remember every schoolroom having that pencil sharpener. And I used a mimeograph in high school, as I worked as a part-time assistant in the languages department (1969). Oh, and 20 correct - might have been 21 if I'd known the scale of things: I thought the trouser press was a tie press.
Well it's a press so we can count it as correct ;) 21 it is!
Thanks for sharing!
I missed 14, not very good, but enjoy the quiz immensely. I also learned a few more items.
well it means you still have more than half correct! :D Glad you enjoyed and thank you for sharing!
If you could include a measure for scale, that would help
Thanks for the tip!
My obsession with antiques really helped me with this, only missed two.
Great score!
This was fun! Being an old person, I thought I would breeze right through it, but.....
there were 11 items I couldn't figure out. As usual, I learned a few new things.
Hartelijk bedankt!
Glad you enjoyed again! Graag gedaan :D
Got 27 correct, and it's Pack Man.
Really good score and Pac man is correct!!!!! 👍
I dont think anybody watching would be old enough to own a snuff box
Those things lasted a few generations, i'm sure some seniors have it lying around in an attic somewhere :)
only missed the saw and the enigma machine. I actually used a mimeograph machine in school a few times. The "plate" you were making copies of was actually reversed, the type-writer used for it made really deep impressions so the raised back side could print the copies.
besides pacmac there was also ms pacman where the character had a bow on it.
Correct. And thank you for sharing. Seems like quite the hassle to make some copies
@@TriviaQuizRush that's why photocopiers became so popular, no need to use a special typewriter to set up the plate or stand there cranking the machine around and around to make copies.
pacman the ghost were inky, blinky, pinky, and clyde this game ate my quarters just as fast as dots
Hahah I didnt even know their names. Thanks for sharing!
Only got 18 right. And naturally Pac Man.😊
Pac man is correct!
I got 23 correct.
Not bad!
Guess I'm not as old as I thought....or as smart either! Oh well, I still enjoyed it 😅😊
Recognising or remembering these things has nothing to do with being smart ;) Glad you enjoyed!
@@TriviaQuizRush Thank you for your kind words. I appreciate the hard work you do.
I did quite well considering I in my mid 50s so sort of senior lol however my grandparents had some of those either still used them or had kicking around somewhere so over at least 20 I do remember
Im in my late 30s and even i knew some stuff because of my grandparents :) Thx for sharing!
#22 is a meat slicer
Thought that too, but found multiple images like this that said bread slicer. You would think this crushes the bread…
I think it’s a meat slicer. Would be good to slice bacon but pushing down on bread without a serrated blade would crush the bread.
Many of these objects still exist, but they were all referred to in the past tense.
You’re absolutely right, many are still used today. I used mostly past tense on how they were used in that shape or form, as newer ones have often seen improvements.
A mortar and pestle has not changed its function and they are available at Walmart. A flour softer is used for the same purpose as it was originally used for and Walmart sells them. Pencil sharpeners are still used to sharpen pencils today, and you can buy one at Staples. Pressure cookers are still used today (see KFC), for the same purpose.
#13 In the UK, we had things on the roof to do this job
Here in the Netherlands too.
So did we in the US (lived there from 1953-1973), but the rabbit ears were convenient for a second set, or a short-term rental.
Not bad ⚡️
Thank you!
Sorry, but I really take offense at misinformation, object #3, you are correct in that it is a fruit press. Used to either make juice, cider or some varieties of wine, albeit small batches of each. However it is NOT a lard render, if you tried to use this to render lard you would just have a huge mess and a pissed off Grandma. The way you render lard is to put your fat, typically pork for lard and fry it, pouring off the rendered fat as it became a large amount. You would do this until all you had left in the pan is a bunch of pieces of what used to be fats but is now... nothing you want in the house
I can only imagine the mess! Thank you for sharing Kenny. I completely share your opinion that missinformation on the internet is an issue (especially these days). So therefore my sincere apologies if the mention of lard press is incorrect. I'm from a "later" generation than lard-presses (mid-eighties) so I have never seen one. I had to do with what the internet provided me, and I was told this was both a fruit and lard press :(. I will certainly do better fact checking next time!
Missed three.
Not bad! Be sure to check out part 1 and 2 as well, links are in the video description.
I did so horrible on the first 10, I stopped. 😢
Sorry to hear that! Part 1 and 2 were a bit easier, links are in the description!

Mario. Next.
Correct!
Missed 5 items. Pacman
Correct!
I missed 4.
Thats really good, keep it up!
Got 26 right and Pac Man.
Correct!
Pacman
Correct! How many did you score?
I got about half correct.
Not bad, this one was a bit harder that the previous 2
Without any scale, I thought the snuff box was a cigarette case. My Grandpa dipped snuff for 80+ years. Many of your "photos" are so poor, there's no way to determine a french fry cutter form a rack! Your "milk skimmer" isn't one. A CREME separator MUST use centrifugal force to separate the heavier creme from milk. I've cranked my Aunt Katie's creme separator after MILKING HER COW over a half-Century ago!!!
Are you okay?
Pacman
Correct!
