    Love the wall, well done. You should have painted the slats before you glued them together.

    Shrink tubing is your long term friend, nice job on that. Only suggestion would have been to maybe cut the slot as a French cleat instead of flat, so you wouldn't need any screws to hold it to the wall. Looks good!

    • @AnotherIndianTechie
      @AnotherIndianTechie  Před 2 lety

      Thanks for the suggestion mate. A French cleat would have been a great idea. I will think of it for my next project.

      I don't see how could french cleat fit here, i mean all installment gets as high as the ceiling.

    • @chelin7023
      @chelin7023 Před rokem

      I love French cleats for the reason you mentioned. There are some picture hangers with the French cleat design and given the sets not being too big, those could had been incorporated and facilitate the hanging.

    Dear AIT, I love the wall! It would help to add some text on the screen when mentioning details such as the light bulb specs, wiring specs, etc. for the novice of us that lack basic knowledge in the matter. I opened the links provided and helped somewhat; still my suggestion stands. Thank you!

      fair point, but since there was already white paint on it, by adding one more coat i was concerned about impacting the efficiency of the radiator.

    hi, I saw your video, it's too strong, I would like to do it too, I saw that you also put the screws under the wooden dowels, but do those have to be fixed to the wall? but if there is wood above where the geese are invited, isn't there a difference in height underneath? bye thank you

      Hi Mate,
      Glad that you like the video. The benefit of using g4 led bulb is it is very easy to replace the bulb. Simply remove it and put back a new one.
      Also if you follow the circuit diagram in the description, even if one bulb fails, the remaining will still be lit.

    • @AnotherIndianTechie

      The power adaptor and wall plug are behind the display cabinet, which is why I opted for voice control activation.

    Hello, I thought the idea was excellent, I'm in France and I would like to put a panel like this in my salon, I just haven't figured out how I'm going to connect the wires on the left (I have the power supply connection) and on the right when I finish where I'm going to connect, if If you could explain it to me, I would appreciate it, congratulations for the video and the idea

    The link for your power adapter doesn’t work , and how many lights can go on one adapter?

    • @AnotherIndianTechie
      @AnotherIndianTechie  Před 2 lety

      Hi,
      The product must no longer be available on Amazon. The wattage of the power adapter will determine how many lights you can use. I use 1.2 W bulbs on a 60 w Adapter which can support upto 50 1.2 w bulbs. But always use 80% of max capacity.
      Also it is important to have right thickness of wiring for larger no of bulbs to support the load. for 40 bulbs and above use min 1 mm thick copper wiring.

    why did you please fixe the lower part on the wall and the upper part on the wooden bar

    • @AnotherIndianTechie
      @AnotherIndianTechie  Před 2 lety

      The wooden bar on the top is fixed to the wall studs to give stability to the structure. There is no need to give support on the bottom. Also if you have noticed, the bottom part is of varying length. So if put a wooden support, it would be visible

    That wall is basically a fire hazard. You should use proper Wire/Splicing connectors. You should add a big disclaimer.

    Is the wall concrete or wood? I was wondering how to install wood accent on my concrete wall.

    • @AnotherIndianTechie
      @AnotherIndianTechie  Před 2 lety

      the wall is plaster with wooden studs in my case. if it's concrete, no need to use a stud finder. you will however need to pre-drill the holes on the wall and use wall plugs.

    Very bad idea to cover heater with wood. Definitely not recommended

    • @AnotherIndianTechie
      @AnotherIndianTechie  Před 2 lety

      the heater is not covered completely with wood. I have put in vents similar to that of a radiator cover and we have not experienced any dip in efficiency, nor has the wood warped.
