Still annoyed that these main auctions are on a weekday afternoon when most people are at work (couldn't get off today to join in the fun, had to save lives...)

That ASM 1 might have been the biggest crack/press/re-holder wins of all time but that one spine tick must have cost the seller several hundred thousand in profit.
I laughed SO hard when that comment came up as the winner. Brilliant.

Swag, when the new CGC slabs come out, are you going to buy the new Untamperable slabs or the old slabs? My thoughts are everyone moves to the new slabs and either do not buy the old ones or only buy them at a discount. Once again, the consumer gets the shaft. Only way around that is 1. If collectors send their old CGCs in to be reslabbed which in effect means they get screwed twice. or 2. CGC pays for all books to be regraded and reholders. We will be holding our breath forever on that one. When the new holders come out, get ready for the big discount on old holder CGC books. Ive already unloaded 1/3 of my CGC books. Will buy them back later. I have equal amount from all grading companies.
What makes you think they will change their holders? They've done nothing to suggest they will make any meaningful changes.
Overall, this auction was very strong. Even in the 2nd session, many books were selling above current FMV or last price. Comic market is alive and well.
What recession? Times have never been so good. Biden is the best…. Who the hell is talking about recession?
