Under the Oak Tarot is so freaking beautiful. I love it so much. The cardstock is gorgeous. The story is lovely and I love the mix of Norse, Celtic and Basque traditions.
Hi, Lisa. I'm visually impaired and was very excited to pick this up. I'm completely blind in my right eye with limited sight in my good eye. I was a preemie and there were complications in the incubator. The way Anima's visual impairment is used in the deck is more metaphorical than practical. I'm still getting to know the deck I haven't seen anything offensive in the imagery but need to delve deeper. It is refreshing to see a visually impaired protagonist in a Tarot deck. I'll let you know what I think after further exploration. ❤

The stones in the air courts of the Under the Oak Tarot look a lot like rune stones, which were like… stones 🤯 with inscriptions on various themes, like ”Handfast paid for this bridge” or ”In memory of Sigrun who was very powerful and cool” or ”In comemoration of winning this amazingly tough battle, all due to the king who sure is very powerful and cool”. Basically, the runestones were for documenting and spreading information, or maybe in other words make knowledge or ideas permanent, while still being very exclusive since being able to actually read the runes was rare. A historian might have a different take on the purpose of rune stones but as a random Scandi, that’s mine 😅
What a fabulous box of goodies! I'd love to see The Bee Tarot and The Good Fortune Tarot in members' readings at some point as I'm debating whether to get either (or both). Looking forward to the deep dive on the Good Fortune Tarot!
I got the bee tarot when it first came out and love it. Only problem I've been having with llewellyn is my tarot books keep falling apart 😢 the glue they are using isn't keeping it stuck together I have 4 books from tarot decks that are doing this.
I took T Susan Changs Living Tarot course and it really changed my life in terms of both magic and reading for people. I highly recommend it, I can read competently with most any deck for a range of questions. It was easy to fit into my life around my commitments and the book will be good for busy people who want to get to know tarot without hours of prep.

I like a lot of the decks and I'm already excited for your deep dive into the Good Fortune Tarot...but I'd particularly love for you to include the Bee Tarot in our next member readings. I need to get your book (once I get mote money, curse working for schools. Two months of freedom are nice, but not for wallets). I have a persomal Tarot “book” I’m making (well remaking kinda). And I feel like yours will be so much hekp for that. (Still hoping for an audio version, but still, physixal books sre nice dometines). I would want to see more of the Under the Oak Tarot. I have no idea wherher it’s done well or not as I don’t have it, but I think the unique perspective xould be fun. I sm visuallt impaired and I’ve never seen a deck about “me” exactly. Maybe I just don’t see it, but I feel like a lot of diability rep is like people in wheelchairs and such and they need it too, but… though on thst topic, I want a braille tarot deck. There are braille playing cards and I know a majority of visually impaired people don’t read beraille, but… it’d be fun! I may have to get the Witch’s familiars because… animals and mythical creatures are my jam, then again don’t grt just any, but ehh :D Buzz words makes me think of the Dog Tarot where they have Paws for thought for each card.
