I Took Two Cruises on The Same Ship and They Were COMPLETELY Different

- To celebrate the restart of the Celebrity cruising from the UK, Celebrity invited me, along with journalists and travel agents on the first sailing of the Celebrity Silhouette.
Note: Celebrity Cruises invited me on the trip. All opinions are my own. Celebrity have no control over my content.
I had cruised on the Celebrity Silhouette before but Celebrity had spent $75 million on board since my first trip so I was keen to experience the changes, oh and the Celebrity Cruises food!

** A ittle explainer about the 'paid promotion' popup box - CZcams defines paid promotion as 'accepting anything of value from a third party to make your video'. As mentioned in the video I was invited onboard by Celebrity which means that they paid my cruise fare, I'm never paid beyond this but the gifted cruise fair means I need to tick this box. All opinions are my own and no cruise line has control over my content. ** 🎉🎉
If you are curious about how I make money (working with a travel agent, sales of my course etc, check out this video >> czcams.com/video/clpjeAMjS0c/video.html)
I'm glad they sprang for your fare! Your reviews are the best on CZcams and they NEEDED your review to show everyone how excellent their ship is! Thanks for such great and thorough reviews, Emma. And BTW, we love your "Britishisms". As Yanks, they are brilliant and a lot of fun. Cheers!
@@markej4801 Thanks so much Mark, really appreciate that! I like to think I'm teaching people these phrases :')
Emma ...your dress in the thumb nail...do u have an amazon shop and is it linked in it? wow u look like a regal princess in that dress ...i was hoping to buy one and copy your style...😀
I had a little giggle seeing the 3rd class cabin. It looked identical to the cabin my husband and I had on our honeymoon cruise in 1980. It didn’t have a bathroom, that was a 2 minute walk down the corridor, but it did have a small porthole. 😂 The ship was P&O Oriana. She is now long gone but we are still continuing our cruise love affair.
Hahah!! Sounds awesome 🤣❤️
I just want to say, Emma, how much I enjoy your videos. Your plain speak is so refreshing. You are no nonsense and straight to point with you're take on these cruises and I very much appreciate that.
Thanks Leann! I just imagine I’m telling a friend a story because I am really aren’t I? you!! 🤣❤️
How awesome is it to be invited on a cruise by the cruise line just on the basis of your CZcams channel? You did it all by yourself!
Hey Gary! Yeah! Well CZcams my social accounts and website and things 😀👏🏼
I did! Took years but yep I did. Haha 😀❤️
We all love you Emma💕
I think we need Emma’s Onboard Cookie Power Ratings
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Totally Agree 👍🏼👍🏼
I love the hull color change! I think it really makes the ship look nicer and more stylish.
I’m glad you enjoyed Celebrity! My favourite cruise line for sure. Their old slogan ‘Modern Luxury’ is so accurate. The minute you step onboard a Celebrity Cruises ship really makes you at ease
So true!! Feels like home 😀❤️
Wow- seeing REAL plants and REAL grass on a cruise ship is doing my head in- I love it!
I am a Viking girl but just completed a Celebrity through the Panamá Canal. My horizons have been expended/. Loved the cruise and the staff
Liverpool was my favorite cruise port ever. As a huge Beatles fan, I took an excursion that included the Beatles Experience, the Cavern Club, and going in to both John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s childhood homes. It was amazing. Also included lunch at a place I don’t remember the name of, but they had the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had. One of the top days of my life. That whole 12 day UK and Ireland cruise was amazing, but Liverpool especially for me. Princess even had Pete Best, the Beatles drummer before Ringo, come on board and do an interview and took pictures with passengers. It was amazing.
Would love to try Celebrity some time as well. They look like a cut above most American cruise lines.
That sounds AWESOME. Love it! :D
I like the idea of the animated meal - that is wild!
On a separate note, I have never been on a cruise and started seeing some of your videos. I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have watched other cruise videos, to your credit I find your videos to be more fluid, that is they move quickly between points with a clear direction. Perhaps this is just the American in me that likes British accents but I enjoy hearing your voice as well as the British-isms. Thank you.
Thanks Mike! I like to plan out my videos and tell my story like I’m just talking to a friend 😀👏🏼👏🏼
I am glad you enjoyed Celebrity! Sailing on it for the first time in a few weeks! (Big cruiser here!) Found your videos very informative and helpful! Thank you for a fabulous vlog Emma!!😊
Thanks so much 🥹❤️
Oh Emma! You made me so cruisesick! To see the familiar Celebrity balcony stateroom, the Oceanview buffet, the theatre and all the beautiful areas of the ship, including the tree. The only one of my favourites that you only mentioned in passing, was Cafe al Bacio, my spot for my daily latte and cake, and a comfortable and cosy spot for reading and tea.
We finished our New Zealand cruise, on Celebrity Solstice, which was the last one, the week before covid hit Australia, through Ruby Princess. We were so impressed with Celebrity’s care with keeping us healthy even before we knew it was a pandemic and there were no cases on the ship.
I am so happy you’ve had the opportunity to sail with our favourite cruise line and Thankyou so much for describing all of it so well. Sally from Australia.
Awesome video Emma!! Thanks for all the hard work!
Thanks Kevan!!! 😀❤️
I think this is my new favorite video of yours! I’ve actually traveled all over the world but NEVER on a cruise...I just think your content is so interesting and informative (and you’re so charming and kind) that I now know more about cruising than I’d ever imagined. 😂 Your mom looks so glamorous and beautiful in her little black dress! I’m in my 30s in Berlin and I’m into interesting destinations, LGBTQ+ friendly and alternative scene activities, and of course spectacles and silly activities - it would be so cool to see a “weird and wonderful” video about cruises that are good for people like me! Thanks for all the fascinating videos and all the hard work you put into your channel! Much love 💕💕💕
Thanks so much, really appreciate this comment. Glad you enjoyed the video 😀❤️
Great review and I am totally impressed on how you can go through and review the entire cruise on-the-fly like you do. Can't wait to get onto a cruise soon. Looking forward to your next video
Thanks so much, lots of planning is how ha ha 🤣❤️
Hi, I've watched a number of CZcams videos about the celebrity silhouette as we are going for an around the UK cruise this month on the silhouette in a couple of weeks. I have to say, your review is the best that we have watched with a lot of useful information presented well with the information that I have been looking for. I agree about the drinks package options seem to be confusing vs the MSC Virtuosa which we were on a few weeks ago. I'm going to go onto your website to have a a look at the drinks options you talked about in your video. Thanks again for a 1st class video review of the silhouette. Siggi
Wow your momma has stunning eyes! Cool to see your mom and seriously her eyes caught my attention. Glad you guys had a good time. I know this video is old but. I find comfort in your voice, Emma. I’ve been watching allll your videos! Love your content
As a long time Celebrity cruiser, I just want to say that your assessments were "spot on!"
Thanks for such a great cruise review, I really enjoyed it!
I think Disney Cruise Line was the first to have those animated tables at meals. Thanks for an informative and entertaining review!
Oo they do?! Awesome! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Great video. I only go on Celebrity Cruises with our friends that is their preferred cruise line. But since Princess Cruises hasn't started I am going on Celebrity Edge soon. Can't wait to have the cookies they normally have the black/white cookies at the Al Bacio Coffee.
Ooooo yes! Princess should hurry ha ha. We have Princess here this summer 😀👏🏼
Excellent video and as always, so informative!
I did a cruise that ended in San Francisco, home town, and did not have to disembark till the next day so did a tour and played tourist for the day. I nice change. So understand when you go to a stop that is familiar. Cant wait to travel again. Cruise next year
Ooo! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
I was on the Silhouette in 2019, too, doing the Norwegian Fjords. I thought it was a beautiful ship then. I loved the lawn.
I just came back off the Anthem of the Seas with RC and I agree, the embarkation process was far, far easier than expected. From parking the car to stepping on the ship took 25 minutes. It was better than pre-Covid.
I like what they've done with the Sunset Bar. We also spent a lot of time in the Hide Away. I loved the Sky Lounge and I think they have improved it with the refurb.
Thanks for the video. I'm itching to get back on this ship again.
That’s good! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
@@EmmaCruises Hiya! Just booked a 7-night cruise on this ship at the end of August! All the ports are in Scotland. I hope by then Nicola will allow us to dock. It will be great regardless.
I agree with you! I hate being late for being early. We will be on the Silhouette in Dec. we are lucky enough to be leaving for a Edge cruise this Saturday. Glad to had a nice time.
That'll be incredible!!! So envious. Enjoy! :D
Hey Emma! New to your channel (recommended by CZcams). We've watched a few of your videos so far -- nicely done! But I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this video, because, coincidentally, we've been on the Celebrity Silhouette twice too! First in Nov. 2014 (7 NIGHT EASTERN CARIBBEAN), and again in Apr. 2017 (7 NIGHT WESTERN CARIBBEAN). Both departed from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (we are from So Cal). So glad to see that they refurbished the ship, because we could not help but notice that the furnishings were very tired-looking on our 2nd trip. We did spend a good amount of time in the now-extinct "Cellar Masters" wine bar, LOL -- mostly taking advantage of the craft beer offerings as part of our Premium Bev Pkg. Looking forward to cruising again once the pandemic is over. Cheers!
Hahah!! Sounds good. Lovely to meet you 😀❤️
We went to Ireland and Northern Ireland on our honeymoon and we skipped the Titanic Musem in Belfast and went to the HMS Caroline- that was a FANTASTIC experience
Ooo I’d like to do that too!
Saw the celebrity ship in Belfast! Glad you enjoyed my home city of Belfast!
Just off the Disney Magic’s first official cruise since the pandemic! Loved it so much. Also, Disney have the best cookies 😂.
Soooo envious! Others have said that too. I’ll have to investigate 😂❤️
Yes, your hometown is truly wonderful. I was glad to visit N. Ireland on a British Isles cruise two years ago next month. I sailed from AMS aboard Reflection.
@@EmmaCruises - My mom was born & raised in Belfast, met my father on a blind date at a USO show during WWII. I've been "back home" four times to see remaining family - my late uncle was an electrical engineer who worked for Harland & Wolf, and his daughter (my cousin) is the Administrative Assistant to the Lord Mayor. I definitely feel that you should take a weekend or two for an extended visit, there's a tremendous amount of history in the area, with lots of places to see and things to do, from classic Irish pubs, quaint "chip shops, ' and Queen's University. I see that Belfast is opening back up, so put it on your "to do" list! Enjoy!
I’m going on my first cruise in 5 weeks on the silhouette, so this is a great review that’s made me even more excited. Thank you
Yesss!! That’s awesome. Thanks for watching 😀❤️
In Canada we use 'bachelor' and 'bachelorette' parties, but if it's a combined party (usually to raise funds for the wedding) it's called 'Buck and Doe'. As usual with culture, we are somewhere inbetween US and UK.
Aha, I see 😀❤️
Emma, so glad you enjoyed the Silhouette - loved your review! We were on her in 2018 (ABC Islands in the Caribbean). We loved it for many of the same reasons you did! We absolutely loved Murano - was worth the extra cost. It is interesting to see her after she went through her updates! Happy cruising! :)
Yay! Thanks Dale 😀❤️
Was looking forward to this video and was not disappointed. Many thanks Emma.
Such a lovely mother & daughter pic at the end.
Yay! Thanks so much. This is the best feedback I can get, appreciate it 😀🥳
Great Video Emma! So Glad You All Had Fun!💖😉🥂
Thanks Thomas! 😀👏🏼😀👏🏼😀👏🏼

I’ve been on Celebrity Eclipse twice-Baltic and British Isles. Loved the ambiance of the ship and the coffee shop.
Sounds good! 😁🥳 Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
I loved the picture of yourself and your dearest mother Gaynor towards the ending of this video Emma :-). Really wonderful :-). Thanks so much indeed for sharing this it was a real pleasure watching it :-). Take care and all the best Emma :-).
From your friend Foxy in Brighton, East Sussex, England, UK xox :-D :-).
Meow meow meow!!!!!

From Foxy xx :-).
Great tour of the Silhouette, Emma. I'm like you and travel on a budget so I'm not sure a Celebrity cruise is in my future. I do love seeing it all from your point of view. I would love Le Petite Chef. ps at work we used to joke that "Early=On Time, On Time=Late, and Late=(well that's just) Unforgivable." Hahaha!
Haha!! Yes!! Exactly. My thoughts too 😀❤️
thank you Emma for this video I'm going on silhouette during the UK summer holidays and I'm really happy that you released this video because, in my opinion, you are the best youtube that includes cruises I love your videos keep the good work up and before you know it you might even have 1M subscribers!
Awwwh!!! Thank you so much. Appreciate this lots 😀🥳
@@EmmaCruises It's alright :D
Have only sailed celebrity Summit but, as you noted, the Sunset Bar was my favorite spot-wake view, drinks, right outside of the buffet🍪🥧🍪🍪🍪🍪!
Ooo! I'd LOVE to go on Summit!!
I love how excited you get about cruising. I wish I had that degree of enthusiasm about anything again.
Oh no! Sad to hear that you don’t. Hope you get your enthusiasm back ❤️
Nice review. Real grass, amazing! I enjoyed dining in Qsine on the Millenium 2012, also the Eggs Benedict station & miso soup in the buffet for breakfast.
Hi Emma~We have sailed on Silhouette 2 yrs a row ❤️. Our last 😟 Nov. 2019, we were shocked to see that the beautiful Ficus tree was DEAD😵💫 so glad that Celebrity did not decide to ditch it for the refurbish. It is such a great sight. We are partial to Celebrity Solstice class ships & have done Le Petit Chef on each ship
😀🇺🇸⛴
Haha!! Must be hard to maintain the tree id think. Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
I wouldn’t be so sure to jump to conclusions that only British people use the term stag party. My dad has always used that term to me in a bachelor party. Just thought I’d mention that. And I am a true blue Minnesotan American
Although, I enjoy watching your channel because, I have never cruised before in my life. And this is something that is on my bucket list.
I love the new blue outside paint! Nice refurbishment.
Me too! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Great vlog .. that was our last cruise way back in 2019 .. Dublin ( where we live) to the Norwegian Fjords.. Enjoyed Petit Chef so much but it was cold and wet and the ship needed a lick of paint and a few new carpets .. Great to see it as refurbished !!
Sounds good! 😁🥳 Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
This ship looks beautiful. Never been on Celebrity. Great video ❤️
Thank you! 😁❤️
Thank you for the video! I like the look of the ship. Have a fabulous weekend!
Thanks Daniel! :D
The important thing is the COOKIES!!!!! I have cruised on Silhouette twice before the refurbishment and it does look amazing now, huge improvements. Excellent recap, thanks.
Yessss!! Thank you 😀❤️
You are so right about the cookies, Lou.
It was so strange for me to kind of remember what it was like, but also not remember at all :')
@@EmmaCruises I didn't even realize that I had cruised on the Silhouette before when I went on it the second time. My wife had to tell me that we had been on her before.
@@EmmaCruises Sounds like me and anyone else who lived through the 70s.
Really interesting video. Thank you.
Thank you lots! 😀😀
Took our lone cruise on Celebrity Horizon NYC to Bermuda in 2002. Great trip. My other cruises were on USNavy ships as reporter.
We are experienced Celebrity customers and an excellent review. We are on the Silhouette soon so thank you Emma. Yeah cruising is back !
Yay! Hope I did it justice. Thank you! 😁❤️
As always, very informative.
Thanks John! 😀❤️
@@EmmaCruises what is your website address? As I have said before my sister sells vacations with American Express but not sure how much longer she will be there. Her specialty when she owned her own agency in Orlando was cruises.
Totally agree about the drinks confusion. We had our first ever cruise in 2018 on the C Reflection, with a classic drinks package, and the only place that clearly defined what drinks were included on this package was at the main restaurant. Otherwise We were constantly asking in the other bars was this and that included. There was a lot of confusion even between bars and bar staff as to what fell into the classic drinks package and what didnt. Despite this only gripe, we have booked our 2nd cruise in summer 2022, also on the Reflection, and in the same cabin!
Oooo! Yeah! I think it could be made better very easily so hope they do 😀❤️
I can't imagine the English love tea more than Americans love their coffee! I don't remember a hotel anywhere in the US that doesn't have some way to make a cup of coffee. Hard to imagine not having that on a cruise, but I suppose if room service provided it that would be nice too
Emma, on our vacation down to Port Canaveral I got to see the Carnival Mardi Gras up close and watched the Disney Dream leave on a test sailing! It was thrilling to see these cruise ships again! We met some cruisers at a Tiki Bar that sail only on Celebrity cruise ships now (they started cruising with Royal Caribbean at first). I told them my personal goal is to sail on the
Celebrity Edge at some point in the future! Watching your experience on this ship now I am now anxious to compare the Covid protocols with my cruise coming in December 2021. Enjoyed the video!
yess! Sounds good! 😁🥳 Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
I'm the same way on arriving on time, always 15 minutes early :)
Yes! The right way!! 😀🥳
I dig that ship. Trees and actual grass?!!! Too Cool!!
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Very good video. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much James! 😀❤️
We went on the celebrity reflection for our honeymoon two years ago and we absolutely loved it, but I totally agree about the drinks package being confusing. I felt the same as you, didn’t really know what was included, so I probably didn’t use it properly or to it’s full extent 😊 otherwise, fabulous experience and I hope to go on another cruise with them some day.
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
The big difference at the beginning of the video is that the hull of the ship is now blue instead of white! Love the photo of you and your Mom, looks like you had a blast. I agree that U.S. cruise lines need to up their game when it comes to vegetarian options. I don't understand why vegetarians have to seek out options in the MDR instead of just having them on the menu. How hard would it be to add a vegetarian options page to a menu? I think we need to start an email campaign or something and let them know that they need to do this.
Yess!!! You got it 😀❤️
Hear hear!!! I've been on 3 cruises now (2 Princess, 1 Carnival) and it seems the most boring part of the cruise, eating in the MDR. There was only ONE offering on Princess and it was the SAME every evening!!! I was not aware I could ask for something separate from the menu and am glad you've told us that, Emma. I'll have to explore that option next March when we sail the Carnival Freedom for their Sailabration.
A very informative video with a GREAT title.
Yay!! It is isn’t it?! My writer team came up with it 🤣🤣🤣
The only cruise I’ve ever been on was with Celebrity ,in the Caribbean,it wasn’t a big ship , and it was the best vacation I’ve ever had , the food was excellent, supposedly the best in the Caribbean at that time. My girlfriend and I had to share a dinner table with 2 couples from the county’s south of London and it was great , we got on great like old friends and we went on daily excursions together for 10 days.
Sounds great! 😀🥳
Looks like a fun cruise. Thanks
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Nicely done! Celebrity is likely more that we will spend on a cruise, but it's fun to see what the experience is like.
Yeah! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
I think watching paint dry is more exciting than watching football, I love going out when England is playing as the roads are empty, brilliant!
The Belfast Titanic museum was the reason I went to Belfast. It was great. Make sure to go to the bar at the hotel across the street. It was the design room where the ship drawings were drafted and it has been repurposed. Gorgeous bar.
I’d have loved to if we could, couldn’t leave our excursion bubble 😅❤️
I’m with you on what’s considered “late”. If you get there when something is set to start, that’s rudely late. 5 minutes before is kinda late. It started for me in marching band, the time you meant to be there for something meant in your seat ready to go, anything else is late!
Yeah!! I’d be too stressed 🥲🤣🤣
Oh I agree! My Dad was USNavy and being on time was always being there 15 min early. Fashionably late would never happen, would have been grounded and still in my bedroom without a phone!
I'm the same way and it started for me in marching band as well. I've heard the same from many others. It's funny to think of how many people who are punctual as adults thanks to our band directors drilling "if you're on time you're late, if you're early you're on time" into our heads.
Well done Emma, impressive reviews
Love Celebrity. The food is delicious and service is excellent. Thanks for sharing.😎
Yes! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Live in San Diego. Did a 7 night Mexico cruise departing from Los Angeles, one port stop in SD! We stayed on board🙂
Sounds good! 😁🥳
Hi Emma, I agree with you. Celebrity is brilliant. My wife and I did a 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise on a sister ship - the Celebrity Equinox. Equinox looks very similar to the Silhouette. La Petite Chef 👨🍳 was a unique dining experience. We were in concierge class which was very nice. Cheers !
That sounds amazing!!! Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Looks like you had a wonderful time and were quite busy throughout the whole cruise! Poor weather is something you just have to deal with, no getting around it. Thanks for the recap! Missing those cookies already? 🤔
Haha! Sooooo much!!
My favorite cruise line! The next step-up would be Viking, really looking forward to that.
In New Zealand it's a hen and batchelor party. You should do a cruise around New Zealand.
ive been on the Celebrity Reflection
it was really cool
Grass is one thing but if they ever put in a golf hole that will be next level!
I love your reviews and value your opinions. Thank you for sharing your world. I'm new to cruising - "forced" on 1st cruise - outvoted for Girls Trip. Lol. I loved it. Then the pandemic hit.
Hello there uhhh Christy :-). I have to say the wonderful lady Emma herself can definitely give fine reviewing statuses when it comes to cruises and the cruise ship businesses and all the rest of it :-). Thank you for sharing your experience with the vegetarian/vegan options on Celebrity. We booked a Royal Caribbean Bahamas/Caribbean cruise at the end of September because Royal Caribbean has specific vegan and vegetarian menus with many options.
That’s good to hear 😀❤️
@greenmarcosu How did you find vegan options on Royal? I know their menus have 1 vegan option for every course in the main dining room, but how do you find the buffet? I can't find vegan buffet info anywhere other than occasional comments that the buffet isn't labelled well
@@joshuaharper2624 A few years ago, it was really good. But, my spouse has been on 2 on Royal Caribbean since then, and the vegan menu is a bit more limited. When we went in 2022 the main dining room had a full vegan menu with multiple choices that changed daily on the 7 day cruise including appetizer, entree, and dessert.
Now, it seems, as you said, they have about 1 or so vegan options per meal. My spouse still had plenty to eat, but it was not as many options or as interesting/exciting as RC a few years ago.
Make sure to talk to the maître d' or a chef and ask what can be made vegan. Also, we really enjoyed ordering off of the Indian menu, and sometimes there is also an Asian menu that have options that are or can be made vegan.
Thanks Emma top video nice to see Hudson is in New Orleans and welcome back
He is! Haha 🤣♥️
The Titanic museum, the Beatle tour, and the train ride all sound amazing. Looks like my bucket list is refilling. Thanks Emma for another great video.
Haha!! Thank you! 😁❤️
I remember on the Equinox, it was hard to find a seat outside that wasn't a lounger. We had thought the grass at the back beside the Sunset Bar was a waste so nice to see it change. It was nice to see grass, but it was never used!
Yeah agreed 😀👏🏼
@@EmmaCruises I'm still watching :) I loved the Sky Lounge too and those rockers look fabulous!
Sooooooooo comfy! 😀
I've seen that grassy lawn used occasionally: people are up there, sitting on blankets spread out on the lawn, playing bocce, and walking past the grass on their way towards the Sunset Bar overlooking the stern wake. But what really gets unused by anybody are those Pay-for-use alcoves to occupy. I did that once during a port call at Naples in late October '12. Never again: not only was that port day too cold, especially way up on that deck, but also the experience's description didn't live up to expectations. Also, if you're the only one doing the Alcove thing and there's nobody else around you, is that good or bad? I felt sorry for the attendants who weren't assigned to my alcove who had nothing to do. Frankly, though, I'd like to see the Porch closed up--nobody goes there to dine, do they?--and expand the dining space for the Lawn Club Grill. I wonder how they handled social distancing within that space? That specialty restaurant and Tuscan Grills were my faves aboard Silhouette and Reflection.
Columbia Crest wine! A taste of Washington wine--like drinking a bottle of Heaven.
Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
In Canada it is a Stag and Doe party....and I think when I do my first cruise I will do Celebrity. I like outfits that are organised and we'll run. 22 minutes to get on board? Outstanding
It looks a lovely ship! I’d be hanging in the library myself or in a rocking chair, snoring! 🤣
I managed to go on a cruise on my little staycation - I booked a ticket on a river cruise and we went down the docks to Williamstown and back. I could have gotten off but I had movie tickets for later in the day and didn’t have time to spend any in Williamstown. Being on the water was so relaxing even with the kid on the first half yelling “We’re all going to die! We’re sinking! Every 5 mins. Thank heavens for masks because I was trying so hard not to laugh. Anyway flash forward 4 days afterwards and we’re all back in lockdown, so I’m super lucky to have has my vacay.
Hahahah! That sounds so fun!!! Oh dear lockdown again?! 😮
@@EmmaCruises yup again…hopefully only for 5 days but who knows. Truthfully I’ve been worried for the last month since coming out of Lockdown 4 that we’d go back in and my holiday would be cancelled. I’m grateful it wasn’t but I kinda need the money from working. But holiday with fun stuff and posh choccies was great, so no complaints.
@@andreagriffiths3512 Glad you had a bit of holiday. Stay safe. Stay well.
"Usually, there's only one option... to walk four miles that way." Bwahaha. Been there, done that, but usually because I love an aft-facing balcony.
I worked on her refit and drydock in Cadiz Spain. 2019 Incinerator repair
I have done two celebrity cruises both times with the premium drinks package, we never got to the bottom of what drinks were available on the package or what bar sold what! I think that was more frustrating having to go to specific bars to get relatively simple drinks. One was a European cruise, the other Caribbean. It was still fantastic though! The oatmeal and raisin cookies are heaven, we dream about them😂😂
Confusing isn't it? Mmmm!! Yeah!! :D
Definately a Hen's night in Australia more likely to be called a Bucks Party. Glad you enjoyed your cruise
I see! Cool 😀❤️
Good as always. BTW, Spurs (THFC) have the same sort drink fill up system as the boat (or the other way round). Richard Hammond covered it in his recent Big show (ep 5). Yes, I know you don't do sports (I'm right there with you on that one) but the show shows it in action along with the time (in seconds) it takes to fill a pint.
Ha ha!! I like it. Thanks :D
I love this videos and cruise lines
God tips keep up the god work.
Brilliant video. I suppose I was more excited to see it and get your perspective as we're on a B2B out of Southampton in May, 2022. Regarding the 'drinks package', one can find a detailed explanation of what each package includes and associated costs on Celebrity's website. I'm also interested to see how testing of International passengers will be managed. We'll be arriving in London 2 days before our cruise from Canada so I would expect protocols will be in place for those International passengers.
There’s lots of different pages with different prices on Celebrities website, just wish it would say somewhere once and for all how much the drinks limit is (preferably onboard/on the menus). Thanks for watching 😀👏🏼
Yeah they’ll have to have a plan for the PCR tests and things 😀🥳
We call them Stag and Doe here in Canada
Awesome, I like it :)
What an interesting video and incredibly informative too I do say Emma :-). Thanks for sharing this wonderful video :-). Wonderful stuff Emma :-). It certainly seems like a celebratory moment for you and your loving mother Gaynor in having an enchanting ride on the generic Celebrity cruise :-). Wonderful stuff Emma :-). Take care :-). Lol I'm sitting here thinking you sounded like my wife.
She's from" Poole", as you probably know the Bournemouth/ swanage area but I laughed when you said you were from that area.
Aldo my cousin is from Brighton.. more or less..
I'm Canadian and never been there yet but I normally can kinda recognize the way the different ways people speak from the uk.
It's a stag party in Canada too
If I recall, the Titanic Museum has 6 floors, with the museum encompassing the first 5, and the top floor being an area for meetings and events. How do I know this, well, in 2016 I was on a tour and we had 45 minutes there (we were on our way to Giant's Causeway, etc.), so I get in the elevator, press the button for the top floor, get out, take a few pictures of the slipways, and then a worker came out of the big room and asked if I was part of the conference, and I said I was not and would be leaving immediately. I was someplace I was not supposed to be. In 2019, I spent a day at the Titanic Museum - and it is awesome. Actually, Belfast was awesome.
Celebrity Silhouette looks beautiful too
She really is, such a lovely ship. :-)
