Original Music that has been extended to play for 30 minutes. Game - Metroid Prime (GameCube) (2002) This video is not for monetary gain of any sort. Music and property owned by Nintendo.
I recently purchased the remaster and it took me 10 minutes to start the game because I just could not stop listening to this music. Absolutely brilliant!!!!
Omg!!!! I never played a Metroid game but always loved the character and the story and playing her in smash bros. Can’t wait to buy this for the switch n experience my first Metroid game
Man I can’t wait to get this game. I have only played a little bit of it on my wii that I don’t have anymore so I can’t wait to finally finish the game.
This song perfectly sets the tone for the game. Epic, mysterious, alien, and with a somber note arrangement that conveys the cries of the dying Tallon IV. This is up there with Dark Souls 3 and Skyrim's themes for setting the perfect expectation of what's to come. Retro are GOATSs.
every time I listen to this it brings a tear to my eye and a ache in my heart remembering a time long lost but it's not sadness but joy remembering the best times of my life thank you
Ahhhh, here we are, at the (almost) beginning. I quite enjoy the piano segments of this track, and this song, in my opinion, sets the overall mood for Metroid Prime to a new player; it gets them hyped up for this fantastic journey in the boots of Samus Aran, galactic hero and renowned Bounty Hunter. 10/10.
Just so you know regarding Metroid Prime 4 (temp.) the positions mentioned on the Retro Studios SNS account are the only ones for the project. All other positions that are listed on the official website and not on the SNS page are for unannounced projects by Retro Studios. This isn't a leak or a rumor just a conclusion based off of correct information.
Overall, I wouldn't say it's a hard game. My general tips would be: - Take your time and smell the roses, it's a very lovingly designed game world. Don't be afraid to use missiles in combat and make liberal use of the Charge Beam especially. - If you feel like you don't know what how to beat an enemy or progress in a room, bust out the scanner sooner than later. - When you get to the Phazon mines, there's a save point in the first big outdoors room that you'll definitely want to make SURE you stop at before you go any further.
Hope I won't start a war but I've always thought this game is indefinitely better than Twilight Princess or A Link To The Past. This game feels so much darker and mature than Twilight Princess imo.
@@olsonbryce777 Because Twilight Princess is "realist" because people complained that Wind Waker is too childish and cartoony whereas Metroid Prime was available if they really wanted a "mature" game. In the end Twilight Princess sold way more than Metroid Prime although Prime is much darker and mature like I said ^^ I'm just sad that Metroid doesn't sell as much as Zelda even if Metroid Prime is the kind of game Twilight Princess players wanted.
Totally different games though, people who want a mature Zelda aren't necessarily the same that want Metroid Prime 4, sometimes there's overlap but they're different games so not always
Retro:”yo we just need a song for the menu, come up with something niche”
Producer:”yeah sure”🔥🔥🔥🔥🎹🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
For me this is THE song from Metroid prime and magmoor caverns comes as a close second
I love this song so much. Its been my favorite ever since it first launched on the gamecube

always loved the creep factor with the neuron-like layout of a Metroid
METROID PRIME BEYOND BABYYY
It's been remastered for the Switch. Digital copies dropped TODAY. Physical copies drop Feb. 22 this year

@raekwon chambers Definitely worth picking up Prime 1, it's one of my favorite games of all time. I'm picking up a physical copy on the 22nd.
Waiting for physical is gonna be painful!
@@IaconDawnshire oh absolutely. But it'll be well worth the wait

Welcome back, Hunter! Beyond is coming 🫡
Super Metroid got me into this series. (AND OLDER CONSOLES IN GENERAL)
Glad this got remastered.
Metroid Prime was my introduction to the series and its still one of the best games ever made it’s a work of art
AND NOW WE HAVE PRIME REMASTERED:)

Retro are GOATSs.
One of my favorite songs in all of video games - so haunting and melodic, it really sets the scene!
Metroid Title themes always hit, Dreads is awesome (reworked super Metroid theme).
Greatest franchise Nintendo ever created
something out of a massive attack album i swear
Couldn't agree more with you on that @lymb3914
Prime 1 Remastered was only the prelude… now we go BEYOND. Prime 4 is coming in 2025!!!!
As I gaze into the abyss of the universe, I think to myself, man... I'm glad Metroid exists and is a part of my life.
Been listening to this while I work 🔥

every time I listen to this it brings a tear to my eye and a ache in my heart remembering a time long lost but it's not sadness but joy remembering the best times of my life thank you

theme kills so hard it needs to be put on trial for MANSLAUGHTER
Am I too far off the mark when I say this theme is iconic?

Aah yes! Metroid Prime. I remember the day I got this game on gc.

Known heroes in gaming, 2002:
1) Samus Aran (Metroid Prime 1)
2) Sora (Kingdom Hearts 1)
3) Tommy Vercetti (GTA Vice City)
With this game getting remastered and being ready to play, I think now’s the time I should try out Prime.
Anyone got tips for a first timer?

Might be too late, but make sure you get the charge combo, the Ice Spreader. Metroid Prime will hate you for it.
to be honest when I first watched the Metroid prime remaster trailer the music hit me so hard in the nostalgic part of my feels that I almost cried.
I'm the only who hears zero mission's norfair in this?

that's a weird comparison but yh I agree. Twilight Princess doesn't always take itself too seriously
