- So I have to say that this Figma The Rising of the Shield Hero: Naofumi Iwatani Action Figure is a bit of a surprise. In a few good ways and in a few bad ways. There are some things that I truly feel like were done very well in terms of this release, but also some things that are completely lackluster. There are quite a few ways this figure could’ve been made better, but overall I am pretty satisfied with it despite the few issues that I have. I definitely like to figure enough to finally give the anime a chance and now I am actually looking forward to it. Despite this figure having flaws, I do see them continuing this line so make sure to pick this figure up if you have an interest in it. This is one I don’t recommend stalling on because I am pretty sure that this is going to skyrocket in price. The shield is actually stucked permanently on his wrist, that's why they didn't mind him having that peg, cuz you won't need him to display without it. And yeah the cape is a let down, wish they went with it all the way and gave him a wired one, that would have made this 1000x better! Anyways great review man! 🔥

I’m pretty sure the shield is stuck to him in the show, Thus no need for it to be missing, the whole joke of this character is that he got the shield not any other of the weapons. The show is in the re:zero type genre.

You can use fix it, modge podge , superglue and nail polish to tighten the joints, those things works wonderfully

I think it’s cool you did a blind review on this guy, but that being said, you must now go watch the series it’s pretty goated IMO. (I don’t watch isekais though so I don’t know how it stacks up compared to others)
I'm pretty salty on this I wish I got him but by the time I'd seen the show the chick was sold out and I know damn well there is no way good smile will make the big bird

I bought this and honestly worst impression for a first figma imo but i just think it sucks cuz the cape looks cheap all of the shield kept falling off and were lose and the hair was chipped when it came and very lose btw i bought the original season 1 version straight from goodsmile
