Great video but for example I still have problem with this room mapping... I scanned properly my room few times but virtual objects still do not see furnitures. it looks like flat room. and when I'm changing room mapping settings (for example from mesh to planes) I don't see that blue 'thing' which I can see on your video :/ do you have any idea how to fix it?

I wish I could define non wall mounted displays.

Yes, thing is that eventually we'll need object recognition to solve all of that. I know meta developed one, don't know why it's not being used. For some games it's really not good, while for others it's more forgiving. I do hope that it will be improved in future updates.

I see that as many other users also your passthrough image quality is very bad, grainy and out of focus. Someone managed to fix that after a multitude of factory resets but the process on how and why it does work is not yet clear, but it's clear that the culprit of the issue is software-related and not hardware. Did you managed to fix it? Did you look into it?

Yes I would like to know this as well. Mine sucks. Clearly different than others. And for all the Karen’s. Yes the damn lights are on. Mine and my buddies in the same room are clearly different. Like wtf different

that is interesting video and application, would their be an way to create an higher mesh, using photogametry/meshroom. thake the Low mesh capture from the Quest 3, align them and replace the mesh data from Quest 3 scan room app ?

Interesting thought. You mean using an external device? As with the current depth scan, the resolution is pretty low. Even with higher resolution, it might effect performance but that's also depends on the amount of area scanned (total faces).

What about sofa? Do you create the box to the height of the cushions or the back cushion?
