History tells us that... Every Great Nation’s Days Are Numbered. Sir John Bagot Glubb wrote this in the 1950’s. He was an Army General and historian. He studied eleven empires starting with the Assyrians in 859 B.C. and ending with the British in 1950. Sir John determined that each empire followed a remarkably similar pattern from birth to demise. Spanning a period of about 250 years, each went through the following 7 stages before their collapse:

There is so much war and hatred. People are suffering on both sides. I pray for this war to end and peace be restored. So much destruction and bloodshed. Innocent children being killed, families torn apart. I thank God everyday that I live in a country that is peaceful.

I'm afraid you have misinterpreted. See, the old testament prophecies concerning Is/ra/el have all been fulfilled. I'm not talking about present day Is/ra/el, but the old covenant nation/people. That nation was destroyed in judgment in 70 AD. That put an end to the old covenant, the nation, and the temple/sacrifices. Christ established the new covenant in his blood on the cross, to open up the way of salvation to all nations of the world. This was promised to Abraham, that through his "seed" all nations would be blessed (with salvation) in Genesis 12:3, 18:18, 22:18, 26:4. It is repeated in Galatians 3:6-9, 16, 26-29. One people of God - the church for whom Christ died.

It is certain that Christ will have the victory over all the nations, and things will improve in the world as more and more people are saved.
