New 3-door bus on trial by LTA

- The Land Transport Authority (LTA) wants to evaluate the suitability of such a bus design for Singapore's use. Unlike other double-deckers used here, the prototype bus will have a third door, and two staircases to facilitate the flow of commuters.

The bus plate number is SG5999Z. Now this bus is no longer in service 143 by Tower Transit. It is now serving bus service 7 by SBS Transit.

What if LTA purchase double decker bus with a lift inside?
thats impossible. the lift needs a bottom pit and a motor room which the bus wont fit in. unless if its a wheelchair elevator then ok

Its not a journalistiv view of the bus. That's the limitations of photography when you have to use a wide angle lens. Use a 50mm on full frame (35mm on crop sensor) and you will give the actual view in space on the interior of the bus which is actually not that spacious.
Luckily SG5999Z still survives today with SBST, on 7.

Everybody! This bus doesn't have 3 doors anymore. They removed it because it isn't Singaporean kinda style. So now the man buses have 2 doors. And there are not many Single deck buses of the bus anymore, or maybe it isn't a thing anymore.
