How To Install VAUX-COM Op-Com Software and update the drivers.
!!!UPDATE!!! On my Windows 10 Pro NOT workinkg older interface version! If on your Window 10 can't update driver the way it's shown on video then probably your inerface is to old.

Thanks for vid. You are running op-com soft on win 64 bit ? once you connect the op-com reader to car obd port, does it work without any connection problem ? or you need to disconnect and connect again ? thanks in advance.

I don't follow them. I believe that only licensed versions can be used newer models.

This software works only on Windows operating system.
This can be done in any laptop?mine is a simple huawei without dvd portal.as far as i know this comes with cd for instalation

I think any opcom or vauxcom will work. Just have to make sure you got the version with all drivers. But also you have to make that version will work with interface that you've got
@@--unknown-- Version means, the Physical ODB OP COM device firmware version right.
In my OPCOM 8/2010 China clone, it detects my ODB device Firmware 1.39.
It works and can detect my car VIN, engine code, part number, Hardwire key number, BUT the Programming, Special Functions and Further Development buttons remained Greyed out and does not work. So unable to get Security pass or program keys.
@@Tahsin_Hussain some of firmware can do more than others but yes.
On my side it worked first time. Second time I connected the opcom and hit diagnose I get the message that there is a newer version and that I need to activate the program. How can I avoid activation?thanks

Uninstal! Then turn off internet. Disable antivirus and instal again. When all done turn back antivirus and internet. Or just give access to your antivirus program. As this isn't licensed software antiviruss can give you warnning.
I could not install drivers from the cd which came with it.
Then Contact seller. Read all comments and you will see that if everything is as supposed to be then it's works same as mine

When i try to install the second driver i get blue screen of death...basically my windows crashes everytime. The first driver installed no problem. Do i even need the second driver?
Not always need second driver. Try it and if not working then will need it. On my laptop was enough with 1 driver
@@--unknown-- legend. Thanks for the fast reply. I think it installed before the laptop crashed because now in device manager theres no errors. I test interface and it works. Can also connect to the opcom device. We will see when i try on the car. Thank you again bro and happy new year

@@--unknown-- so i finally got a new battery for the shitty laptop i bought so i can use it inside the car ( no power point near by ) when i try connect to the car it comes up with that Interface communication error, or interface not powered from car. I followed your instructions to the tee. When i go into settings and test interface its successful. Any help would be greatly appreciated
@@ballstank3904 I believe that your laptop is too weak for the software. Or the interface not communicating with ECU

I don't have the file (ftdibus, ftdiport) in de drivers, I only have ftd2xx.h in the 2014 version and many "ftd..." in the 2012 version but not ftdibus and fdtiport. How can I fix this problem?
Ask to them from where you get the software. Because it's supposed to be together with software
Great video but I don't have the USB Serial Port coming up so I can't update the driver for that. This didn't work for me

@@--unknown-- yeah, I managed to install the driver for the first device but didn't have an option for the second device! Anyway it's all working now. I tried a different version of the software and it's up and running now. Thanks and have a good one :)

Normally driver must be with software in driver folder as you can see that in this video.

Driver are made for certain software version. That's why they should be with it. Looks up for software which has drivers included.
