  • Yamaha Guitar mode in PSR/Tyros/Genos keyboards. Tutorial on creating user styles in Yamaha arranger keyboards. Hidden feature in Yamaha arranger keyboards. This video covers a special and hidden feature of Yamaha arrangers. It is the guitar mode in the style creator. This is available in the models from PSR S710/910 and Tyros 3. This is a very useful feature when creating styles. The Yamaha user manuals don't provide much details about it. This video is about the detailed configuration settings of the guitar mode. The keyboard used in this video is PSR SX 900. But it is available in the models like Genos, PSR SX 700, SX600, S975, S775, S970, S770, S670, S950, S750, S910, S710, Tyros 3, 4 & 5.

    Hi,
    can you record strumming on the same track as guitar chord, because on factory styles that is the case?

    • @ArrangerTutorials

    Since PSR-S670 there are nice velocity driven effects - smooth tone, sharp tone and in the strongest pressing that click. They have great sound of electric steel guitar. On Tyros 5 the advantage is portamento effect in real instrument voices with automatic switching between polyphoni and monophony whether you play one-voice legato melody (mono) or you press more keys in the same time (it plays accords, not only the last pressed key). I found that features because in many cases they are automatic so I need not know, which button i must press or if I need a pedal, etc. :-)

      @@ArrangerTutorials Dear sir, thank you very much for your quick response. But what I really want is for the bass guitar to feel like a bass guitarist is playing while the rhythm is playing. Or to give a feeling close to it. How can I do this is what I really need.

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  Před 2 lety

      @@guvenaksoy5694 it depends on the pattern you create. Normally we can create pattern in one chord root and the arranger generates the other chords while playing the style. But there is an option to provide another pattern for a different chord type in another track. Its called chord switching. But that option is not available on the onboard style creator. It can be done using some softwares like Style Magic.
      Another setting you can try is the fingering mode with fingered on bass. That plays the root of the selected chord position in the bass track.

    • @ArrangerTutorials
      @ArrangerTutorials  Před 11 měsíci +1

      As far as I know, there is no option to export the sound source from keyboard to to computer. One option is, you can connect the keyboard using a midi cable with the computer and when you play the sequence in daw, map the track to the keyboard’s sound and those tracks will play from keyboard.
