Wilder’s power comes from leverage on his hooks and uppercuts. He swings them completely from the hip and has maximum velocity on them. His straight punches have extreme power because he moves his WHOLE BODY in the punch. He is flying at you and his fist is where all of that energy is transferred. He could be even lighter and still have power just from how he punches. It’s not pure boxing form and that’s why he has the power he has.
