As a Mallorca fan, Lee has been an absolute joy and a sensation all of this last part of the league. Probably the most talented footballer to play here in the last decade. I think his characteristics are a lot more suitable to a Premier League team than to Atletico Madrid.
Next season, I don't want to face Lee Kang-in, who is not on our team in la liga.
@@nr6eyh ???? I want Lee to stay in La Liga. The better the players, the better the league. But At. Madrid is simply not a good place for him imo. Simeone isn't the offensive coach he needs to shine in a big club.
Do you think he's ready?
@@letsseetofindout2560 you never know. Many players shine on smaller teams like my Mallorca but fail when they go to bigger clubs. He 100% has the talent, and I see similarities with him and a player like Odegaard. He's also not shy when it comes to deffending, he has even played as left back when we ran out of players there for a game. Before coming here he had the reputation of a bad boy, but in my experience, with some very minor exceptions, that was gratly overexaggerated.
@@angelamengualcortinas3614 Thanks for your take : )
Tenhag had already shown interest in signing him while at Ajax. He will probably play in Eriksen's position.
He is good at releasing pressure, has a wide field of view, and has good ball delivery, and his passing is accurate.
Also good at creative passing.
The moment he goes to a team that can win the league, he will immediately become world class like Minjae Kim.
It's insanely underrated. Already one of the best dribblers in La Liga this season.
yep, his strength is in progressing play. not so great in front of goal, but incredibly direct and press proof.
이놈은 한국놈이다 he is a korean
Ones a CB and ones a winger, if you're were going to keep it top level oriental lads you could of at least gone with Son, Mitoma, the 'new' Park-ji-sung but yeah Fuharashi.
@@user-nb3ho6zs3w 어쩌라고 새꺄. 사실이잖아 틀려? 드리블 전체3위 성공률은 1위인데.
In the Ericksen position? A deep lying playmaker? Come on man. 😅 That's a position for an Enzo Fernandez, FDJ, MacAllister.
He's a 10/11, false 9 or RF. You'd be wasting his abilities at 8. I'd even rather see Bruno at the 8 and Kim at 10.
he is creative and a fantastic dribbler. his dribbling success rate is overwhelmingly No. 1(70%) in the whole of 5 European leagues
he is in Mallorca now so he hasn't many chances to dribble but still took a third place in the dribble ranking of La Liga
I watched this man throughout the world cup and I was amazed he wasn't being linked with big clubs. I really would love him at Manchester united.
You had me at he can dribble... Rashford apart, we have no dribblers at the club. So this guy is a no brainer. Sign him up.
Definitely an interesting option. Wouldnt cost much & can easily play in Eriksen's position aswell. From what I've seen of him he looks a cracking talent. Its bargains like this that United should be all over tbh
finallllyy someone speaks on him , he looks like a dribbling key passing freak. Seems like everything we wanted in sancho
Did you see how Sancho plays at Dortmund
I think people misunderstood what Sancho was but in a team that dominates possession, Sancho & Antony will cook. Kang-In has a lot more raw speed than either of them.
@@StatmanDaveClips yh i agree , i felt sancho mainly would cook in possession based scenarios but im surprised at how much hes dependant on that. That was my concern when we was linked to him but i didnt think it would be as much.
@@unkownHustla we should overhaul the Midfield so we can control the middle of the park so we can utilize Sancho more.
@StatmanDaveClips I am not so sure about Lee having better raw speed than Sancho or Anthony. Lee is not very fast. What makes Lee special is that his dribbling is so good that he does not mind taking on 3-4 defenders and put in a perfect cross or through ball.
That price would be an absolute steal. Im amazed there arent more teams going in for him considering that release clause.
He also created a decent amount of big chances this season
Kangin Lee is typical Korean player: hardworking and brave, he reminds me of park ji sung but with better technique. We need muscle and energy in midfield, i think him and Rabiot Will be good signing for us
FYI. Lee's family immigrated to Spain when he was only ten y.o. So he may be hardworking like a typical Korean player, but his football is definitely Spainish in style and technique.😂😂😂
Spot on. I've been watching this guy since his early teens in Valencia and the only two questions I had of him was, "will he be able to fend off big physical defenders and will he be able to defend?' Because he's got the ball skills. And over the last year or so he's gained a lot of muscle and now it is impossible to dispossess him with his immaculate first touch AND he's become a much better defender himself. Lee checks all the boxes. He's able to retain the ball the with good first touch, dribble up the field with pace block to block, key-pass, ability to finish in the final 3rd if he needs to, defend and good mental makeup on top of that. He has the tools to succeed wherever he goes. I hope he goes to Atlético because I'd like to watch Lee under Simeone but United would be fine as well as Ten Hag is a fantastic manager. City may be very competitive but they do play a lot of games and Pep knows Lee is quality.
We should sign him, but it's too smart of a signing for us to make. So he'll probably end up at Dortmund instead.
One day Man Utd will make smart signings again, one day.
@@StatmanDaveClips but today is not the day
so true , I heard this morning that Evan Ferguson had trials at united but opted not to go for him lool
You know the drill. 😅
This ETH era and it has already pulled surprises and he will again
Lee is no 4 in successful dribbles in Europe, tied with Bellingham at 86. And the success percentage is 73% which is higher than any one in top 10
As a South Korean who has been a Manchester United fan since Park Ji-sung moved to Manchester United, I hope this deal will come true
I've seen almost all of Manchester United's games this season, but I'm sure Lee Kang-in will be able to play his part even if he enters Manchester United's starting lineup right away.
As a player who has spent more time in Spain than in Korea, he is very optimized for Pass and Move, which Tenhag values, and the de-pressure through dribbling is very good
From Valencia to the early days of Mallorca, his weakness was defense. but Under manager Javier Aguirre, his defensive skills have also grown remarkably.
Since he was young, all his family moved from Korea to Spain for his goals, so he is more thirsty for success than anyone else and is not afraid of competition.
He also has Asian characteristics such as humility and sincerity and knows the value of teamwork.
I also think his transfer fee and weekly salary are very reasonable in the current transfer market, which is going financially crazy.
In addition, regarding the military service that should be checked when recruiting Koreans, I know that Lee Kang-in can be postponed until his mid-30s because he has a long stay in Spain.
(Of course, there is also an opportunity for exemption For example, Asian Games, Olympics, etc.)
I hope this deal will come true. he's a really good player.
PS. I used the translation site because I am not good at English. It may be awkward, but I hope it's delivered well.
You did a good job, hopefully he ends up at manutd

Also very underrated at drawing opponents out of position. Kang-In's ability to keep possession of the ball with the dribble and find the key pass makes him an upgrade on Eriksen in midfield. He does everything Eriksen does for us and then some - I suspect Ten Hag has the same idea, make him play more box to box than he does at Mallorca. Instead of splurging 70M for Mount, this is a much more sensible buy.
Recruiting him is a very good option. Because he really improved this season. Next year will probably be scarier. So I was also surprised. He is a player who can do better at a higher level. It's because he's a genius, and he thinks his genius shines even more when he's with good players. If we miss him, a year later he'll be priced much higher than he is now. Absolutely must buy.
I remember him from FIFA 19 the guy had incredible potential. I thought his career in Europe was over when he didn’t hit the ground running at Valencia, he looked physically weak and he seems to have grown into a man at the club where he is at the moment. You guys should definitely get him.
His best position will be where Ericksen is he will be like Modric of left footed KDB.He is Korean who was famous already in Korea since he was a kid through Korean TV program and he came through youth rank of Valencia, he was not used there and he move to Malloca, he set him self for the World cup and improved in every area which people used to say he needed to fulfill his potential in just one season which shows he has top class mentality.
Lee is certainly a promising player that has a versatile skillset at his disposal. United need to make smart signings like Lee when the opportunity comes instead of chasing after big money signings all the time. Without a new ownership group confirmed, getting in signings like Lee and Kim Min-Jae would not only be smart, affordable signings but also guarantee the Asian market for the next decade. It makes a lot of sense, and for that reason United won't do it.
Ten hag is smarter than previous managers
@@sunglee3935 but he is hamstrung by stupid or incompetent colleagues.
United also much more constrained by FFP than in the past so might be a matter of necessity rather than choice.
If he can back up Bruno for that price, the versatility is a bonus. Mount, Eriksen, Bruno and Kang-in is a solid selection for those midfield 8/10's with a good future.
Even as a Dan James style 'failure' he would represent a way to turn a good profit on a player for once.
He can be a good no 8. He plays in a weak Mallorca team and he’s in involved in all the build up and attacking. They can’t bring the ball forward without him.
If it's true that Ten Hag wanted him at Ajax then there's every chance we sign him. ETH wanted Malacia at Ajax as well. Considering he's available for around £15m that should be a no-brainer, hopefully same as Kim. If we let Fred/Scott McTominay/Sabitzer leave then we definitely need young, dynamic and technically gifted players like Kang-in Lee.
Kangin Lee would look so good for De Zerbis Brighton. SEAGULLS.
His price is absolutely reasonable. He'll be a good fit at both ManUtd and Atletico.
Definitely! Kang -In Lee at the equivalent of GBP 15m, plus Kim min Jae for 43-52m, plus Rabiot on a free significantly strengthens Utd's mid + defense at a "mere" 77m max. Assuming Utd has a budget of 160m or so, it would leave a cool 90m to spend on an elite no.9 - which is Utd's biggest need. Sell a couple of players and Utd could even release an odd 30-40m to bring in cover for Casimero (Romeo Lavia at GBP 25m?) & DDG (e.g. Croatia's Dominik Livakovic at GBP 9m). Hope Utd bites!
Transfermarkt states his main position is AMC. Secondary positions both left and right wings. Without me seeing his complete stats, it sure does look like a great bargain for basically any club. Would probably be great with him and Min-jae Kim in squad together since both are South Korean. 😛
Hmm maybe he can play the eriksen role with his dribbling?
Hes heavily linked to Aston Villa and Wolves. Villa makes sense since Emery has been wanting to sign him when he was managing Villareal and Kang In Lee speaks fluent Spanish.
I hope ETH watches your videos and sign some of the players that you have been mentioning. Great analysis 👌
Shirt sales galore if kang in Lee and Kim min jae sign
I think he fits bruno’s position better than the left wing.
Really good analysis😅
His agent was seen going to man city and newcastle. Hes also linked with tottenham.
He is not a winger, he is a CAM. I think He is meant to be Bruno’s back up
please do a video on ikone!
Be nice to sign a couple of Koreans. EtH will love their work ethics.
Regardless of their talent?
@Zee One no, I was referring to the two players linked to United, Kim and Lee.
Dave, do you think if Martinez had signed for Arsenal like he was close to, would he have carried Arsenal over the line? Especially as the games they bottled. (2-0 leads v Liverpool and West Ham, Saints result etc) His ball playing, leadership and calmness instead of Holding may have done it, with Saliba missing imo.
Yes definitely a smart transfer business to do which would help build our squad depth to compete with the likes of Man City 👍💯
Lee Kang-in will play in Eriksen's position because his main position is a central midfielder
Lee Kang-in's main position is AMD, but he is a multiplayer player who can play left, right, and center.
It's not Eriksens position he is only playing there as we didn't buy a ball progressor
In the double pivot alongside Casemiro?
@@zeeone4492 We can use Enzo Lee as an alternative to Eriksen
How many wingers do we need! We have Rashford, Sancho, Amad, Garnacho, Antony, Pellistri, etc.
Please can you do a full analysis on Caicedo on your other account? I love it more on that one.
If he gets a big move we'll dedicate a full video on him over there. If not maybe we'll squeeze him into a "5 Players X Should Sign" 🙏
@@StatmanDaveClips Thanks and looking forward to it
Is a nice bargain but the forward option is way to much but if we can pull it off is a nice one
Definitely wouldn't be my first priority but Kang-In Lee would be a nice bonus deal, provided Man Utd strengthen other areas first.
Someone should send ERIK Ten Hag this video
I think we are underestimating rashford as a nine. He always looks a threat when playing in that position moreover he combines well. Wasting him on the wings will serve no real purpose and he has the sting in him which can threaten the defences. Still not sure why we signed antony (fidget spinner). We need to upgrade our right side coz all the attacks begin from left be it rashford garnacho shaw eriksen Martinez etc.
Knowing Manchester united they'll not do it but hey thanks Dave for scouting for our rivals a talented player.
Top player but we have too many CAM's amad at his best behind the ST..jaden likewise...(donny /zidane/mejbri)...
He can replace Antony and must be better player.
No one will replace Ten Hag pet unfortunately
Be quiet. Antony’s first season from Holland and he’s only 21. It’s people like you that were writing off Grealish last season and now he cooked this season for city. Give players a chance goddamit.
@@thebizness5596 the main issue with Antony is his price and lack of finishing. I read a Scouting report that predicted that he might move for £40m and bang United paid £90m. If he was £40m his shortcomings might not be so much of an issue but he should be a star at that price.
Seems a very promising plyr bt I think we need plyrs who can operate more in the central midfield area to control the tempo.
Thought I was the only one who realised we had a lack of control over games. We end up getting drawn into basketball matches. Especially when Bruno is on the ball cause he wants to smash it around all the time. Nowhere near as controlled or refined as Juan Mata.
A new central midfielder is a big priority imo
@@iwantgoals1566 why can't we improve the CM and get an attacking number 10?
Lee is a natural playmaker. He prefers playing in the center. He has been playing as a winger/ midfielder, because Mallorca needed his ball carrying ability and cross.
Why do i feel like this will be our bext Debeek typer signing situation, not confident about it
He is korean David silva. Manchester United!!! Don’t miss him. He’s really really genius.
Instead of paying 22 m for sabitzer I’d sign him for 17 million
I'd take him and Sabitzer, keep Mainoo and Iqbal to understudy them, and sell McFred.
@@lancerevo9747 Sabitzer is a short term fix for this season. There are tons of better midfielders in Europe and South America that we could sign. Sabitzer is fine for a team fighting for 4th but we really should aspire to be better than that. We should get press resistant players that retain possession under pressure and at the same time pressure the opposition. Enzo Lee Fee can do the backup midfielder role better than Sabitzer and he is only 22 and is available for around £15m according to French football experts.
Definitely a promising prospect but would be a luxury signing for us, ST, CM, CB, GK and even arguably RB are all more pressing concerns.
Definitely agree. If we can fix the problem positions and there's cash left over I can think of worse ways to spend €17m than on Kang-In Lee...
I'd rather have Casemiro backup than CB tbh considering recent performances from lindelof and shaw especially (what a season hes had)
@@knhgv youre allowed to buy more than one player at a time.
We need a player in each position through the spine of the team so Lee would be ideal to play instead of Poono.
@@FountainOfYoot Still, the starters of Varane and Martinez has proven good. The back-ups in Shaw and VNL also good. While a fifth player would be nice and free up Shaw for LB it isn't pressing consern.
Striker and possibly two midfielders should be prioritized before a new cb.
definitely good signing
looks like a deal with PSG is almost finalized....
He could be easily evolving to the next level when joining the right club.... MC, not MU???
Absolutely sign him.
But he likes Spain (speaks Spanish fluently) and will therefore probably remain in the La Liga. But who knows, it would probably take a team like Manchester United to pull it off as it would be tempting not to join a team of that caliber, history, and level in the EPL.
If United get bought by Qatar, how much can we realistically spend ?
I think we can get Ugarte (£53M), Kim(£44) Enzo Lee(£30M), Harry Kane (£80 and if Tottenham says no, we go for Holjund who would cost £60) and Gift Orban(£30M) in one summer if we get rid of Harry, Donny, Scot, Fred, Bailey, Telles, Martial, Sancho and Elanga. I think we can fetch close to 170/180M for all these players.
With the money from player sales, we could even get Kone from Manu Kone, heck throw in Kang In Lee. We need super depth in order to compete with City and all the guys I mentioned are quality
Also this mught be controversial but if Greenwood is allowed to come back, he would be like a new signing
Watch as Brighton get him in to replace Mac Allister. Smart clubs doing smart business. United will never pull off that kind of a deal
I see him more in Eriksen's role as an 8.
8,10
Unfortunatly I dont see United make "smart" signings anymore. It seems like United only want big name signings like Rice, Kane, Kim Min-Jae.

Really good at corners? Signing for United would sort that out! haha
He looks to me like an Explosive David Silva. Would be good as a 10 or left of an 8
PSG already got him as a potential replacement for Messi.
someone should send this video to Tenhag
I'd also activate Gabri Veiga's release clause.
He won the U-20 World Cup Golden Ball based on his skills and incredible football instincts. But he needed to have time to mature physically, because he was gettting muscled off the ball rather easily. Now he's gained a lot of muscle and he's ready to take the top leagues by storm. Definitely deserves a bigger stage than Mallorca to display his talents. He's being linked with Manchester City, Newcastle, Athletico, PSG and Napoli. Not a bad list of suitors, eh?
he is short zidane+Silva+Messi mix
Are we linked with him?
Yes
As he's not played for Ajax, Dutch or played in Holland I doubt it
He is good player.
How does this guy compare to Mitoma? I"ve never heard of him. Personally I was wishing that Man United would go for three Brighton players, Mitoma, Caicedo and McAllister.
MU have too many LW. and What's mitoma's strenghth? Dribble? Find out 5 main leagues dribble stats. Considers position and real dribble abillity.
Bring him for depth, but we have another short, stocky, fast, left-footed player in Amad... €17m release clause though would be stupid to pass up on. Do need more creativity
I think we should get midfielders that press and tackle and retain possession and are press resistant however when that is taken care of it would be nice to add a player to break down defenses. United lack ability to break down defenses which means we only ever win 1 to 0. To be honest we are paying Sancho £350k per week to do this job and he simply isn't. I think this guy might be worth a punt at this price.
high possibility of MU signing Mount, no place for Lee now I think
Why Kangin-Lee? Are we not stacked on the wings? LW: Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho, Martial, Elanga RW: Antony, Amad Diallo, Pellestri, Sancho, Rashford, Elanga Why a new CF? Why not Mason Greenwood, Charlie McNeil, Joe Hugil and Antony Elanga - plenty of options there to rotate across 4 options and cover injuries.... Elanga hasn't put a foot wrong and unless you're using him in a swap on Jude Bellingham as a sweetner with cash and sticking a buy back clause in there no reason not to keep him in the mixer, and well the other 3 have done it massive at youth level better and far higher level than Ireland where Ferguson has come in and smashed it from and Mason has done it at the highest level already + Rashford, Garnacho, Martial and Bruno Fernandes can all play up top as well.....
This guy plays the number 10 as well as wing. He is a skilled utility player. The team sometimes is very boring and predictable and this guy is a bit different. We struggle to score goals so this is just another option you could throw on.
@@almac9203 Yeah he's a great little player to have but only really makes sense if we move on Sancho as effectively he does that and we are stacked in wingers and number 10 positions already, I'm sure Rashord, Garnacho and Sancho can all play wing and deputise as a no.10 and the same goes for Mejbri or Zidane Iqbal.
Sorry, Lee Kang-in go to PSG!!
he can play on left winger but technically, he has been playing acm and cm since he was 8 years old.
Yes Lee and Mitoma
for 17mil!? SIGN HIM!
Good signing but man United are quite heavy on the left side
He can play the 10 or the right wing as well. He is versatile.
Its heart breaking watching these type of videos as a united fan , our recruitment department is without question the weakest not out of just the top 6 but the rest of the league, we will never make intelligent good value signings unfortunately
Watching scouting videos I have realized that there really are tons of alternatives to the main players the club considers. There are plenty of alternatives in every position yet United get fleeced by going for the same limited pool of choices. I can't believe we would chase FDJ all summer when you could get Caqueret and Lavia together for cheaper. It boggles the mind that the board could be so useless. I read about the finest south American talent and the reports say Chelsea and Barcelona have already held talks whilst United are asleep at the wheel.
Have you sent this information to EtH? You should ! 😉
No need, Erik is a long time subscriber.
surely we have a korean pull with park
Sign him now!!!
So he could be our David Silva?
If MU want to sign with kangin lee for left winger, he will reject and go out directly. Because he thinks that MU knows nothing about him.
he doesn't prefer to playing on left winger. he just have been sacrificed for team's strategy(cross using left foot for header) this season.
If he can play on central or right side, he will use his left foot for shoot and passing in to space more comfortably. on those positions he can do better everything except cross. Because his preffered foot is left.
Welcome to Paris Saint-Germain, Mr Lee :)
If eth says so. Simple as that.
yes please. hard working versatile attacking guy that has a high floor imo . could be a good rotation guy to decent / good starter
