    I usually play E mixolydian or E maj pentatonic on such situation, but yeah come think of it B minor pentatonic will do since it's like E mixolydian minus two notes

    Is it because B is the 5th of that E ? Sort of stacking the 5th tones in a way ….? 🤔✌️

      The B minor pentatonic scale contains chord tones and extensions of the E7 chord.

    When he says a whole step he means two semi-tones.

      It’s not an actual track. I just plugged the chord changes into my looper.
