For songs i recommend "Life is Killing me", "Gravitational constant", "IYDKMIGTHTKY" as well as "My girlfriend's girlfriend" (its iconic and everyone has to hear it at least once imo. May I suggest Siouxie & the Banshees - “Spellbound”; “Christine”; “Happy House”.
It might seem a bit late because we just left the Christmas season, but you really should listen to Red Water (Christmas Mourning).
My favorite Type O song is Anesthesia, followed by In Praise of Bacchus and Red Water. I think Red Water is probably their saddest song with the thickest atmosphere. It's so good.
My choice is the song (we were) electrocute, one of my all time favorites😢 But. Every album is unique. Individual songs from different albums seem to be taken out of context. Albums like OktoberRust, WorldComingDown, BloodyKisses have their own atmosphere and should be listened at a whole;) greatz from a big fan💚, sry for bad english.

Pete was all about making sure people didn't know whether he was making a joke of his misery or if he was actually totally miserable. He never took it out on anyone and was totally cool to his fans, which some performers cannot say at all. If your fans aren't acting like crazy assholes I don't think they deserve to be dumped on and Pete felt the same way.
When I met him in Vegas in ‘08 he asked why someone would come all the way from Chicago to see such a shitty band and I replied, oh, I’m here to see Hatebreed 😂 He then signed my photo, threw it at me and said, here, go back to Chicago ya bastard, all with a smile on his face 😄

Please be very careful if you do anything on the first 2 albums. It should come with a shock / trigger warning for some. I personally love the early stuff. But you need to first understand Pete's sarcasm and pain. I love the album Origin of the Feces, though it is not for all.
